My name is Veronica and I have been working in Mwanza east Africa for eleven years. I work with the local churches serving the community in several different ways, but my main focus is working with the children through song, dance and games.
We also have a sports ministry, thus enabling the children to experience some kind of childhood, which is lacking so much in their lives. I also work very closely with the people who suffer from leprosy. They are cast out from the rest of society and forced onto the streets to live, even by their own families. Their greatest needs are for human contact, respect and love, and we also distribute food parcels among them.
This year my focus is on providing mosquito nets to families in communities where they have children of five years old and under. This will save many lives, as mosquito bites transmit malaria, one of the main causes of infant deaths in Africa.

In order to continue I need financial support. If you are reading this then it probably means that you are willing to help me. I appreciate your help so much as I am sure the people of Mwanza do too. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
If you would like to sponsor Veronica to take mosquito nets to Africa, please get in touch.
