Our Sunday Meetings

These are some of the common questions people usually want to ask about our meetings. If your question is not shown here, please get in touch and we will be happy to answer you.

Who will I find there?

Apart from locals, Salt Church gathers people from different nations and racial backgrounds. This gives to its meetings a warm and friendly cosmopolitan flavour. We always start with a chat time around filter coffee, tea and snacks.

What kind of Music you use?

We use contemporary worship songs in our meetings with a variety of styles reflecting our cultural diversity. We are privileged to have with us competent and committed musicians. The lyrics are projected on the screen, so you don't have to worry about handling song books.

What about The Message?

We aim to always share messages that are practical and meaningful. We don't want to bore you with irrelevant religious speech, but inspire you to experience all that God has made available for your personal growth.

What do you have for My Children?

Church meetings should be events that children want to come back to, so we have a team of people with years of experience on teaching and caring for them. For your peace of mind, they are CRB checked and we follow the guidelines of the Child Protection Act.

What to Wear?

We are more concerned to meet your real life needs than to what you wear, so you can dress just whatever is comfortable, and you will fit in.

Do I have to Give Money?

Although we have collections in our meetings, we will not expect you to contribute financially to the work when you come. But we do want to make sure that you will RECEIVE friendship and a warm welcome. Salt Church is a part of East Lancashire Christian Trust, a registered Charity in England.

Where can I Park my Car?

Canon Slade School is well served with car parking spaces, so you will not find it difficult to find a spot.
