Africa

Veronica and Friends have been going to Tanzania in Africa for more than 10 years now. They are developing an amazing work among children, lepers and the needy in general.

In 2010 her focus was on providing mosquito nets to families in the community who have children of five years old and under which will save lives because malaria is one of the main causes of infant deaths in Africa.

Brazil

Aaron and Isabel (pictured) are pastors of Salt Church and they returned from Brazil in July 2010. They spent a year and a half in Brazil working with Sal da Terra Church as missionaries. They were involved in areas such as worship, church planting and translation.

Mike & Claudia Ormrod are co-pastors of the church and have been involved in taking teams to Brazil for short term projects since 2006. Their most recent team was made up of young people from Canon Slade school who spent 2 weeks in Uberlandia during June 2010.

Japan

Since he was a teenager, JP had a special connection with Japan. After being sent by Sal da Terra church in Brazil, he worked as a missionary in Bolton and later in Belfast. JP is now working with OMF in Japan sharing the Gospel of Jesus through his ministry of Street Dance.
