A Glorious Church

Y’ all know why preachers need water? Keeps a sermon from getting dry. Sorry. Oh man, real quick, some ground rules for me. How far can I go without being out of the camera?

Because I like to move right here. So if I stay on this stage, I’m good. Oh, no, no, that’s okay. I mean, if somebody feels like taking off running, I’m gonna, I’m just letting you know I’m gonna run with you. So that’s all good, man.

Well, is anybody excited to be in the house of God this morning? Did anybody come expecting God to do something for you this morning? Because you know, we should come into the house of God with an expectation that something’s going to happen good. In my favor because God’s for us, he’s not against us. Hallelujah.

Too many people say, well, you know, God’s putting this thing on me and bring it. Nevermind, I’m not going to preach that today. But anyway, I don’t, I don’t necessarily agree with that, but that’s another sermon. We’ll go there another day. But today I’ve got something that I want to share with you.

If you have your Bibles or your smartphone or I guess really any phone now would be a smartphone. I don’t think there’s many flip phones anymore. But Ephesians, chapter five, your iPad, whatever you want to do. Ephesians chapter five, we’re going to start in verse 25. I’d be honest with you, I have a new King James version Bible up here, but I don’t know what I typed up.

What version I typed up on my notes right here. I’m reading out of my notes. I think it’s new King James Version, so if it’s not, just bear with me. Oh man, thank you so much. Ephesians, chapter 5, verse 25.

And I’m going to read through verse 27. Husbands, love your wives. Just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her that he might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word that he might present her to himself. A glorious church. Somebody say a glorious church.

Not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Let’s pray this morning. Lord, we thank you for the opportunity that I have to come and present your word this morning. I pray that you would hide me behind the cross, Lord, that it wouldn’t be my words, but your words flowing through me, God, that you would touch hearts and lives here today. God Spirit, have your way in this place, Lord, that we wouldn’t leave here like we came in Jesus name.

Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Well, I’m excited to be here this morning. I’m definitely nervous.

I wasn’t lying when I told Pastor. That the other day. I was like, hey, look, just so you know, I am nervous to come and preach in front of you, but. However, I did get convicted about that last night, Pastor. I was doing some.

Doing some meditating and not meditating, but meditating on the word, meditating on God’s word and praying. And I felt like the Lord said a couple days ago, he had led me to a passage in John. And Jesus is saying, if I’m speaking my words with man, then it’s to edify me. But if I’m in the will of God, then all praise and glory go to God. And the Lord said, what are you going to that church for?

Are you going for your own praise, to appease and to please the pastor? Or are you going for me to move and for me to minister and to hobby Lifted up. So I’ve come to lift up the name of Jesus this morning. Hallelujah. And before we get into this, when we were.

We were just singing that, you know, I just want to speak the name of Jesus. I thought of a passage I was reading last night in Acts, you know, when. In Acts, chapter three, when Peter goes in and they’re walking into the temple and the man, the lame man at the gate gets healed. Skip on to chapter four. The Sanhedrin are interviewing him.

They’re like, by what power or what name has this been done? And they said, only by the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. So if we just speak the name of Jesus, how true that song is. If you’ve got a need in your life this morning, if you need God to move, how many of you need God to move in your life today?

You’ve got something, a burden on your heart. You’re in the right place this morning. All we have to do is speak the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. And if you go back to Deuteronomy, hey, if one can put a thousand to flight, or how can 10 put 10,000 to flight?

But if Jesus is behind them, hallelujah. If that rock is behind them, Deuteronomy calls it the rock. If that rock is behind them, then we can do something. The Israelites. There’s no way the Israelites would have made it through the wilderness had God not been leading them.

And how many of you know if God is leading you in your life today. If you are in the will of God and you are doing the will of God actively in Jesus name, He will make all things work, work together for your good. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I don’t.

That wasn’t. If somebody maybe just needed to hear that. That has nothing to do with my sermon this morning. I just felt that was on my heart and I wanted to let it out. Hallelujah.

Hey. Pastor Kenneth Hagin said that sometimes people get more out of the rabbit trails than they do out of the actual sermon. But today we’re going to talk about a glorious church. Hallelujah. A glorious church.

Christ is coming back for a church that’s not broken down, beaten, disgusted, busted. He’s coming back for a church that’s seeking to praise his name. A church that’s living in faith by faith and is moving, actively working in his power. Hallelujah. I’m excited to be.

How many of you want to be a part of that glorious church? I’m not talking about Salt church. I’m not talking about Fountain of Life church. I’m talking about the church, the Church of God. Hallelujah.

And honestly, let me just share a little bit about how I feel about denominational things. I feel like denominations are like Republicans and Democrats. It’s something that just tears the body of Christ apart. We’re all a part of the body of Christ. Hallelujah.

We’re all saved by grace through faith, in Jesus name. And the first thing I see as part of a glorious church is a church of faith, because without faith, it is impossible to please God. Amen. Hallelujah. I was studying last night and thinking, and we’ve got a lady in our church, Ms.

Phyllis. Man, I went to Peru on a missions trip last year, first time I’ve ever been on a missions trip. And we went with evangelist Doug Echols, and we’re down in Peru. And I Learned something about Ms. Phyllis.

I’ve known her my whole life. Basically, me and her son’s a little bit older than me, but we’ve known each other our whole lives. And, man, that is a woman of faith. And, you know, when I think about what is a church of faith and a glorious church, you know, everybody. Everybody’s got that, you know, man, when I got a need, I’m going to that person for prayer.

You know, somebody, you know, somebody who is a prayer warrior. And this lady is a prayer warrior. She is a woman of faith. A few weeks ago, we were in a revival service and somebody Came up and this lady came up in a wheelchair and she went up to Ms. Phyllis and I leaned over to the guy beside me.

I said, that lady’s getting ready to get up out of that chair and walk. I can tell you that right now. And within two minutes Ms. Phyllis had that lady up and walking. They were walking across the aisle.

She is a woman of faith. But a glorious church is a church of faith. That shouldn’t be. You know, when we see signs and miracles and wonders, it shouldn’t be just something that the evangelist that sets the tent up sees. It should be something that we see every Sunday morning when we come see when we come with an expectation and a hunger tugging on God when we’re desiring God, do something in our lives today, move on our behalf today.

And we come with that desire. God will show up and he will not let you down. But it’s become a thing to where? Oh well, only the evangelist can move in miracles or the guy that’s setting the tent up down the road or, or I don’t really know about the miracles. Maybe that’s not for us.

Maybe that’s not. Oh, we’re getting in trouble now. When the church says, wait a minute, that whole miracle thing, I’m not real sure about that. I’m going to tell you right now here. In the last year, year and a half, I have seen more miracles than I’ve seen in my life.

We are living actively living in the last day revival. How many of you believe that we are not going into revival, but we are living in revival in these last days. Days. Hallelujah. Smith Wigglesworth.

I was reading the other day, Smith Wigglesworth. I don’t know if any of you know who he is. A big time evangelist. He prophesied to. Let’s see here.

I got it in my notes right here. Lester Sumrall. And he gave a long prophecy of what he saw. He had a vision of the end time church. And one thing he saw was, was that hospitals were being emptied and they were taking people to churches who would allow the power of the Holy Ghost.

How many of you know that’s a faith church? Somebody said, well, you’re one of those faith preachers. I don’t know about you. I don’t know about you. Well, what are you preaching?

Depression. My Bible says without faith it’s impossible to please him. Our whole Christianity is based off of faith. We don’t live by things that we see too often. We allow our situation and what we’re going through to Determine our level of faith.

Well, I’ve been really struggling going through this thing this week. Like I said a while ago, oh, God. God’s putting me through this thing. No, he’s not. He’s waiting on you to sit back and stand on his word and say, no, I have authority over this.

Because when Jesus died, he rose again. And he is seated at the right hand of Christ. And as a member of the church, I’m seated with him. He’s given me all authority over. I can trample over all serpents.

Serpents and scorpions. Hallelujah. Glory to God. When we realize our authority through faith, what we have, we can live a glorious life as a glorious church. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. One day he’s coming back, and he’s coming back soon and very soon. And my God, that’s how I want to be a part of that glorious church. How about you? Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Well, hallelujah. Romans 1:17. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Hallelujah. Somebody say, shall live by faith. It’s not an option for us to live by faith. It’s not. We can’t come into God and pray the prayer of salvation.

And that’s the only faith we ever have is that. Well, I believe Jesus came into my heart. I heard Kenneth Hagin say one time, he said, I’ve had people tell me, well, you know, I’ve been saved and sanctified for 35 years. Well, bless God. That’s all you’ve ever done.

You just sat there and didn’t do nothing with it. But how many of you know that we are called to live a victorious life? Hallelujah through faith. Well, we’re going to get there. Hey, one thing I promise you is if you’ll push the pastor, Push the preacher.

Evangelist. We’re going to be the Baptist to the buffet. I can tell you that right now. Sorry, that was just. Anyway, I don’t know why I said that.

We receive salvation through faith, but we also receive healing through faith. How many of you believe that? That by his stripes we were healed? That were. We were.

Past tense. He’s already given us our healing too many times. We’re looking for the will of God, and it’s already in his word. He’s already given it to us. We’re praying the will.

We’re praying, lord, your will be done. And he’s sitting there saying, well, if you read my word and get in my Word, you’d know what my will was. Oh, me, I’m stepping on my own toes here. Don’t worry, I’m going to tear you down, but I’m going to bring you back up. Don’t worry.

We’re going to hug and kiss and get on with it after this. I’m only here for one night. Hallelujah. We are healed by the stripes that Jesus took on his back. First Peter 2:24.

Every blessing that God has promised in His Word, we receive through faith. You know, if we will get in His Word and learn what this word says and learn his will for our lives. You know, my wife likes to watch a lot of reality TV shows, and I won’t name which ones because I’m not going to incriminate her or myself. Because, yes, sometimes I get caught up in it, too. But a lot of things that I see these young folks saying, I say young folks because they’re younger than me.

I’m not very old, but they are younger than me. And I never really said this growing up, but. But the new thing now, apparently, is I’m a stand on business. I’m standing on business, you know, when I’m standing my ground, when I’m, you know, when I’m taking up for myself, you know, there’s this one girl, she was. She was, you know, getting in it, and she’s like, I told him, I stood.

I stood on business with him. Well, how many of you know I’m standing on the word of God? Hallelujah. That’s the business that I’m standing on. Because when this is the only firm foundation.

Hallelujah. The chief cornerstone, the stone that the builders rejected when they crucified him and said, well, what power are you doing this? Oh, by the guy you crucified. Because he’s given me that power. Now you messed up when you crucified him.

Hallelujah. We are seated at the right hand of Christ. And by faith we can do. The Bible says greater things than these shall you do. How many of you know that’s not just for the pastor, that’s not just for the evangelist.

That’s for each and every believer. Hallelujah. The Bible says these signs shall follow who? Those that believe. Hallelujah.

We’ll speak in new tongues. We’ll lay hands on the sick. And they shout, there’s that word, shall they shall recover. Hallelujah. I believe I walk in that authority.

I believe. When I think of faith and I think of Ms. Phyllis, hallelujah. I think that’s how the whole church should be, that when somebody comes up to you and they know that they’re going to walk away a different person. Because you live and breathe faith.

You live and breathe the word of God. Hallelujah. Well, I’m enjoying being here this morning. Y’ all are awesome. Y’ all are like family.

Y’ all clap so much. I’m like, man, y’ all make me feel good. I don’t even feel like I’m preaching good, you know, I love it. I’m not used to that. You know, some.

Hey, I’ve been to some churches, Pastor, and it’s like, y’ all should change the name to the first Church of the Chosen Frozen. I mean, I’m like, whoa. You know, I told the pastor I used to sing, travel singing in a Southern gospel group, and we’d go in some churches. Pastor, man, I’m gonna tell you, it was like, dead as a doornail. You could.

You could drop a pen in there and hear it. But we’d get done singing. We’d be up there singing our hearts out. And, you know, when you’re up there singing or. And pastor can tell you when you’re preaching and you’re getting nothing, just.

It’s hard to preach. All right. And it’s hard to sing. You know, we’re up there. I’m just up there singing like this.

Hallelujah. Lord, bless them, Touch them. Because if I open my eyes right now, I’m going to lose faith real quick. But we would leave, man, we’d get in the back, and we’d be selling our product. Oh, that was great, man.

I enjoyed it so much. You know, that was awesome. I’m like, if you’re happy and you know it, notify your face. All you had to do was smile. We had no idea that you were enjoying it.

But, hey, I’m glad you did. So I can say I honestly appreciate you guys, you know, giving me some feedback here. That is awesome to have. Sorry. Somebody said, drink some more.

Just kidding. All right. Next thing, I see a church of faith, but I also see. No, I’m going to skip this one. I don’t feel like doing that one yet.

How about a church of praise? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You know, something I’ve noticed, I said earlier about a tent evangelist, something I’ve noticed. I’ve been traveling this year with an evangelist, and we go set up a tent and everything.

That’s what brought that to my mind. But. And we’ve been seeing a lot of miracles under the tent And God is really moving. But something that I’ve picked up on is the people that will get out of their comfort zone. They have a need, they have a desire.

They have a need that they need God to meet. And that’s the whole point of them coming because they’re there. They’re not there because they want to sweat under a tent and have gnats all over their face and go to church. If they wanted that, then they’d just go to regular church and here in the academy. But they come because they have a desire and a need for God to move.

And the ones that will get out of their comfort zone and will get out there and just dance like David before the Lord and will praise his name. Unashamedly praise his name. Most of the time, they’re the ones that are receiving their miracle. And I’ve preached this before, but breakthrough comes through praise. From my understanding, y’ all been going through a summer of psalm here.

And if there’s anything you should learn out of psalm is that David knew how to praise. The Bible says that David was a man after God’s own heart. And that’s my desire, is I want God to look down on Chase and say that right there, David was, but so is Chase. Chase is a man after my heart. He knows how to praise.

My prayer lately has been, God, teach me how to praise. Teach me to praise you better. And I get into prayer. Sometimes I feel like I’m just saying the same things, Pastor, you know, I’m like, thank God. I thank you for your salvation.

I’m just saying the things over and over again. And I’m like, God, take me to a deeper level of praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Psalm 33:1 3.

Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous. For praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with the harp. Make melody to him with an instrument of 10 strings. Sing to him a new song.

Play skillfully with a shout of joy. Hallelujah. I looked up that word shout, and it translates battle cry. Oh, hallelujah. Sometimes we gotta give God a little battle cry, give him some praise before you see results.

You see, when the Israelites, when they were marching around Jericho, they marched around in silence. But then on the seventh day, when they marched the seventh time around, they gave that battle cry. They gave a shout. And when the walls came down, see, sometimes until we praise the. Those walls won’t come down.

But when we start to praise, our walls break. And we can see the blessing God has for us on the other side Sometimes that’s all that’s taken, is a little praise. The Bible says, let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise. Hey, it’s not always easy. I’m not gonna sit here and lie to you and say, man, you know, if you’ll just praise, it don’t matter what you’re going through, it is a sacrifice sometimes.

There’s been multiple times in my life where I’m like, I don’t even. I don’t feel God in this situation. I don’t necessarily want to give him a praise. I’ve been through some things in my life where it was hard times, where there were times on my knees in my kitchen floor. Why my kitchen?

I don’t know why I was in the kitchen, but times on my kitchen floor praying and crying, going, God, why am I in this situation? Crying like a baby. Why am I going through this? But nevertheless, Lord, I know that you’ve got a plan for my life. And I don’t say this to look like, oh, look at the evangelist.

I promise you, this was my prayer. There were times where I was going through. I said, God, I don’t know why I’m in this situation. I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t know the outcome.

But, Lord, I know there’s a light at the end of my tunnel. I can’t see it yet, but I know that you’re there. I know that you’re with me. You’ve never left me or forsake me, and you’re going to see me through. And, God, I praise you that I’m going to come out stronger.

Hallelujah. I heard a pastor say one time, he said, you’re never really over what you’ve been through until you’re using it to help somebody else. Hallelujah. And I said, yeah. And I said, that’s where I want to be.

I want to be able to use this situation in my life to help somebody else overcome so that somebody else can see, you know what? I’m not the only one who’s been through this, you know? And you may feel like you’re alone in your situation right now to today that you’re going through. You may feel like that God’s not there. You may feel like all your friends have abandoned you, but hallelujah, I’m here to tell you God is there, and he is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Hallelujah. God is with you. He’ll never leave you nor forsake you. He is for you, not against you. And when you think you’re in the middle of a trial by yourself, you’re not.

He’s right there with you. I promise you. Just go ahead and give him a little bit of praise. God, I thank you that you’re here. I may not see you.

I may look behind me and only see one set of footprints, but how many of you know that’s when God’s carrying you? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. A church of praise. Matthew 23:13.

When Jesus overran the temple, he said, my house shall be. Oh, wait, never mind. That’s the wrong. Well, he said my house will be a house of prayer. He doesn’t have that slide back there.

But that was going to be. My next point was a house of prayer. When several times in the Bible it says that my house will be a house of prayer. And he’s quoting, I believe it was Isaiah there when he said that my house shall be a house of prayer. A glorious church will be a house of prayer.

I was talking about my friend Ms. Phyllis and how she’s a prayer, a prayer warrior. And, you know, I believe that everybody in the church should be at that point to where our prayer life, it’s constantly overflowing. Our praise, our prayer, our faith. When we come into church, we should be so built up and ready that it should be an explosion.

You know, a house divided against itself can’t stand. And also a chain is only as great as its weakest link. So if we’re coming in here and only three or four of us are coming into church, not necessarily in here, but as members of the body of Christ, if we’re coming in the church and only two or three of us are built up on our most holy faith. Hallelujah. Praying in the Holy Spirit throughout the week.

But we come into church and we’re. And we’re dragging, and I just don’t know. And we need a jump start. And we’re dependent on the pastor to get up here and give you that jolt so that you can make it through the next six days of your life, then it’s going to be a hard time in church. But if we’ll come primed up, ready to go, ready to give God some praise, charged up.

Because all throughout the week, instead of spiritually fasting, for the last six days, we’ve been feasting on God’s word. God, I’m looking forward to a mighty move. And when we come together as the body of Christ, it should be an explosion when we walk into church. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. That authority, when we call, come together, that authority that we have. Satan doesn’t have a chance if he don’t have a chance against me by myself, brother, how much more does he not have a chance against the whole church of believers. A whole church of people who know how to give God praise before they see what’s actually coming. A whole church that knows how to walk in faith and will live by faith.

And a whole church that knows how to pray, how to pray and see breakthrough. Pray until something happens. My mom used to have a little button thing that she would stamp. Something that said push. Pray until something happens.

Hallelujah. That don’t mean that I’ve heard some people say, well, I don’t know. Once you pray one time, that should be all. If you pray in faith, that should be all you need to pray. Well, I’m not saying don’t pray in faith, but I’m saying keep on praying until God does something.

You know the woman who was persistent knocking? That’s who came and answered. So when we’re consistently knocking on heaven’s door and saying, God, I need you to move in this situation. Pester him, let him know you’re here. Don’t, hey, God, don’t forget about me.

I’m right here. I’m coming to you. I came to you 30 minutes ago, but I’m coming to you again. And I’m going to keep doing it until you answer. You give me some kind of answer.

As he is faithful and just to answer us. He hears our prayers. The Bible tells us that. That he hears us and he’s moving on our behalf. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. A church of prayer. Well, Satan’s come to steal, to kill and to destroy. Oh, man, that’s a terrible thing. But how many of you know we have authority over him?

He can’t. He, you know, come on. Good. Here. Can’t touch this.

Hallelujah. He can’t touch this. Hallelujah. Because I’m a blood born again child of God. I am his righteousness.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I’m not a sinner saved by grace. Because when I became a Christian, I died to the old things. Behold, old things have passed away and all things have become new.

I am his righteousness. If you’re saying that over your life, this is a pet peeve of mine too. Stop saying I’m a sinner saved by grace. Say I’m God’s righteousness. I’m God’s chosen generation.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory To God. See, there’s power in our words. The Proverbs says, the power of death and life is in the tongue.

Be careful what you’re speaking over yourself. Speak the name of Jesus. Don’t be speaking negativity. You’ve got lost loved ones in your life that you need God to move on your behalf. Speak life.

Hallelujah. Well, I just don’t see them ever getting saved. Well, you’re saying that they probably won’t. Uh. Oh.

Got quiet in here this morning. Back up a little bit. Hey, I’m guilty of it, you know, for years I’ve got somebody very close to me that. For years I said, it probably. Probably will never, man.

I just. It’s going to have to be. I wouldn’t say I said never, but I knew it was going to have to be a move of God for this person to come to salvation. And just a couple months ago, I led them to Christ and it was awesome. You know, it was a great thing.

But leading up to that, and now I’ve got somebody else who’s close to me where I’m praying the same thing over them. Yeah, I’m praying it’s just their bad luck that they’re friends with me because they’re coming into. They’re coming into God’s kingdom whether they like it or not. They might not know it yet, and Satan may think he’s got a hold on them, but I’m here to tell you, Satan, only place he can be is under my feet. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Jesse Duplantis, he used to say that his mom used to say, well, it’s just your bad luck. You were born to me. You’re going to be saved, brother.

He was out, you know, in bars and drinking and having a good time, playing music and doing whatever, and he was all into drugs and everything else. And then he got saved in a hotel bathroom one day. If you’ve never heard his testimony, it’s awesome. But his mom, that’s what she used to say. It’s just your bad luck.

You were born to me because you’re going to be saved. You watch. And he said, mom, I don’t want nothing to do with that. Too bad. I’ve started praying that over people that I’m looking to be saved.

The Bible says that we should pray for all people, but the people that are dear to our hearts, we should be praying, God, send somebody to them. But not only that, I’ve changed my prayer to God. Bring them to their knees. Let Them know that you are what they need. God, you know, whether I’m that person or somebody else is that person.

God, send somebody to share your love with them. Hallelujah. My next thing I see with a glorious church is a church of soul winners. You know, my house should be called a house of prayer. But we, we’re also, we were given a command when Jesus left this earth to go and to preach the gospel to all the world.

Hallelujah. That’s just not for the, for the pastor evangelists either. You see, too often we qualify things, classify things in the Bible as well, you know, that wasn’t for me. That’s meant for the preacher. And that part is for that part of the five fold ministry.

And well, yeah, salvation, that’s for me. Yeah. No, this whole book is for us as believers. Hallelujah. And as believers, we should be walking and fulfilling daily the great commission in our lives.

Hallelujah. And I’m going to share a few things with you today. But there are benefits to being a soul winner man. Nothing. Hallelujah.

There’s benefits to being a soul winner. Hallelujah. You know, we’re not. God didn’t say go and do this. And that’s all there is.

No, if we will actively move on God’s will and live in God’s will, then I promise you, you will live a victorious life if we will stay in tune with the word of God. I promise you. But one thing for sure, I said earlier that a lot of times we’re praying for things that are, well, God, show me your will in this situation. And that’s great that we’re praying God’s will. Because Jesus, when he told his disciples to pray, he said, pray like this, Lord, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

So if we’re not praying God’s will be done, then it’s not going to be. That got quiet again. Right. Then let me get off on this rabbit trail real quick. If we are not actively praying God’s will be done in our lives, then it’s not going to be.

God is not just roaming the earth and just doing things. You know, you hear people say, well it don’t matter, you know, God’s will is going to be done. Well, did you pray for God’s will to be done? Because if not, then it’s not going. Why would Jesus tell us to pray for his will to be done if it’s just going to be done anyway?

If God’s will is going to be done anyway, why do we need faith. Why do we need to pray? That’s not the case. God’s will is not just going to magically be done. Because, see, the Bible calls Satan the God of this world.

And a lot of times we blame on God, the creator of the universe, things that are actually resulting back to the God of this world. But we have overcome him through Jesus Christ and we have power that we can pray. Lord, your will be done in this situation that Satan can’t touch this situation. I command him to take off. When we take authority and we stand our ground and we stand on God’s word.

Praying and we say, God, this person is coming to you. I believe it in Jesus name and we go out and we become soul winners. See, one of the benefits being a soul winner is we’re answering somebody else’s prayer and we get our prayers answered through it. Hallelujah. The Bible says that whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

So if we’re going out and we’re sowing and we’re being an answer to somebody else’s prayer for their loved one, because we’re going out and we’re actively. I’m not saying that we’ve got a whole. Put a group together and go, let’s say, all right, we’re all marching to Walmart today and we’re. Ain’t nobody leaving there unless they’re saved. Hallelujah.

But, you know, but even in our. There are plenty of people in Walmart that need to be saved, though. Trust me. And when you leave, you might need to be saved again. I don’t know.

You know, but when we’re actively going out and we’re winning souls to Christ and being a prayer, being an answer to somebody else’s prayer, then that gives us. That says, hey, that’s putting me in my little piggy bank in heaven. Hey, God, yeah, I’ve done this, and these things are happening. So I’m standing on faith that your word says, whatever a man sows, that’s how he also reaps. So I’m praying that I’m going to reap, that my family is going to be saved.

How many of you have lost loved ones in your life? I do. We all do. We all have people close to us who are lost. And, you know, sometimes.

Sometimes they get on our nerves. And sometimes we’re like, well, you know what? Give what you deserve. That’s the flesh coming out. That ain’t how we should live.

Hallelujah. That’s not living a Christlike life. But Anyway, how do we get on that? Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes I get way out there and I don’t even know how to get back.

So we’re. Look, I preached a sermon one time, a few weeks, actually. It’s been probably a month ago. We left there. We were at this church, and me and my wife left, and we both looked at each other and I was like, I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know what I preach.

And she was like, yeah, I don’t either. But the people come up to me after, like, that was a great word. That was great. And I’m like, hallelujah. The Holy Spirit was flowing through me because I don’t.

I don’t know. I don’t know what that was. We got way off on there. But anyway, a church of soul winners. And I’m wrapping up on this.

I’m going through this. I’m trying to be quick because my wife tells me that I’m going too long, and I’m just. She’s really beating me down. No, I’m just kidding. So I put this mint in my mouth, and when this mint is gone, that’s when I know, hey, this time’s up.

It’s time for you to go. So we’re wrapping things up. But I just want to give you a few benefits today of soul winning. We have. Let’s look at Luke, chapter 10, verse 17 through 20.

The 72 returned with joy, saying, lord, they even the demons are subject to us in your name. And he said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall hurt you. Wow, man.

You know, how many times have we heard somebody getting hurt? And I’m not going to get on my soapbox. But church hurt because church hurt. You know, people. People get hurt in a church, but a lot of times people use that as an excuse not to go to church.

But yet when McDonald’s messes your order up, you’re back there the next week, ain’t you? Oh, me, uh. Oh, you didn’t get McDonald’s hurt, but you got church hurt. No. Anyway, that’s.

That’s a whole nother thing, too. Hallelujah. But nothing shall hurt you. That means the enemy can bring nothing against you. That’s going to hurt you that we don’t have authority over.

How many of you know this Satan can tempt you with anything new? He is the oldest loser in the book. The Bible tells us that there’s nothing new that he can tempt us with. Hallelujah. So went back to when you feel like you’re going through something alone, you’re not.

Somebody else has already been through it. Because really your situation is new to you. But it’s old news to God. He’s like, hey, I’ve helped I don’t know how many people through this. All I need you to do is call on my name.

All I need you to do is give me a little praise, stand in faith and, and give me some praise. Hallelujah. We have supernatural authority when we’re soul winners. You know, the 72 had went out and they were preaching and winning souls and they were casting out demons. Why has that changed from the church today?

Nothing. This stuff didn’t die off with the apostles. If it died off with the apostles, then how did these 72 go out and have the authority to do the same thing? Then why did Jesus say greater things than these shall ye do? Hallelujah.

We have supernatural authority. In Jesus name. Hallelujah. We have supernatural peace. The 72 returned with joy saying, even the demons are subject in your name.

Hallelujah. They had joy and peace when they were coming back because they were like, man, this is great. I have authority over these things. These things are nothing, you know, they’re just mind blown and they’re coming back. Man, this is awesome.

When we come into church on Sunday mornings, it should be, hey, let me tell you what God did this week. Hallelujah. Let me tell you what demons had to flee from me this week. Hey, hey, look, I was going through this situation and Satan tried to do this, but I said, oh, nope, just kidding. Let me just step over that because I have authority over it and I’m going to keep on moving in Jesus name.

Hallelujah. Sometimes it’s that simple. But, but honestly, I feel like it’s our human nature sometimes that we just, we like to soak a little. I’m guilty of it. Throw my little pity party over here.

Satan tried to do this to me. He got me down. I got sick this week. I was sick this week. That’s a true story.

The night after I had my interview with pastor that night, I got sick. I was like, nope, this ain’t happening. Can’t happen, Jack. And I’m going to tell you right now, I’ve gotten over it supernaturally quick. I have supernatural health in Jesus name.

We can walk in that. You don’t want to clap for me, you don’t have to believe me. You can say this guy’s off in left field. That’s all right. But I believe it.

I believe I have authority in Jesus name. Hallelujah. We have. We’re going to get down in the junk drawer today. One more thing.

This is. I heard we’re going to get into. Let me say this, and then I’ll tell you what I was going to say. We have supernatural increase when we’re soul winners. Matthew 6:33.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Wow. Things will be added to me if I seek his kingdom first. Well, I know his will is for me to go out and preach the gospel and to be a soul winner because that’s the last thing he told us to do before he ascended. So I know that.

And if I seek him first, I seek his kingdom first. And the kingdom’s will, that his will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and his righteousness, then all these things will be added unto me. Hallelujah. Supernatural increase. You know, I heard.

I was listening to a pastor this week preach, and he. I can’t remember the term he used, but, you know, people get all cringy a little bit when you start talking about prosperity, all that prosperity gospel. I don’t know about prosperity. That church, they believe in prospering. Well, I’m sorry that I believe that God’s told me that God’s called me to live a victorious life, that I’m an overcomer through Jesus name.

Hallelujah. And, you know, I’m not going to sit here and say, well, you know, I’m just. I’m making it. Hallelujah. I’m living.

Living by faith. We’re making it. No, that’s not the case. We don’t have to live like that. We can live in supernatural increase.

If we’ll seek his name, these things will be added unto you. It’s right there in his word. What are these things? The things that your heart desires. God knows what you desire.

Sometimes it’s things that we don’t really need. You know, we desire that Double cheeseburger from McDonald’s. We may not need that. Hallelujah. Anyway, we’re going to get on from this one because whatever.

Hey, Exodus 23:25. You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and. And I will take sickness away from among you. You said, well, Chase, you can’t walk in supernatural health. If I will take sickness away from among you.

Well, that’s Exodus. That’s Old Testament gospel. We don’t. We live in the New Testament. I believe the whole Word is for me.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is no respecter of persons. What he did for one, he can do for me. Hallelujah. And I believe that he’s going to bless my bread and he’s going to bless my water and that no sickness shall come upon me.

Hallelujah. You want to have a sermon in Psalms? Let’s go to Psalms. Hallelujah. He who dwells in the secret place shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Hallelujah. Keep on reading down. No sickness shall befall you. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

Psalm 103. Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me. Bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, who forgives all my iniquities. So there’s nothing you can do, nowhere you’ve been that you can outrun the love of God.

He forgives all your iniquity. Keep reading. Who heals all my diseases? Hallelujah. How many of you serve a God who heals all your diseases?

Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I believe that you say, well, why didn’t this person get healed? Why did they pass away?

I don’t know. Sometimes it’s just for God to know. It’s not for me. But I’m going to live my life so far on the side of the fence that God heals everybody, that there is no bringing me back. It don’t matter how much somebody tries to tug on me and say, well, you know, this and that and the other and bring me down.

I choose to believe that God, when God says, who heals all my diseases, that he heals all my diseases, I believe the word of God. I’m going to stand on the word of God. Hallelujah. Is anybody here with me that’s going to stand on the word of God this morning? All right, real quick.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Mark 16:20. And they went out and preached everywhere while the Lord worked and with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs. When we’re soul winners and we go out and preach the gospel, it allows us to work in the miraculous.

Well, it’s quiet again. I told you, it’s not just for the 10 evangelists. It’s not just for the pastor. And you say, well, you know, we just don’t really see those things anymore. Well, I’m telling.

I’m here to prophesy to you that these times are coming. That I’m telling you that the times that Smith Wigglesworth saw were living in those days when the hospitals are going to be emptied out and they’re going to bring them to the church. I want to be a part of the church who allows the Holy Ghost to move the who says God, I’m going to set my will aside, but your will be done in this service. God touch and move in a mighty way. Hallelujah.

I believe that God wants to heal us. He wants to deliver us. It is part of God’s plan. You know, if not, he wouldn’t have said, these signs shall follow those that believe. But glory to God.

It empowers us to operate in the miraculous. You and I can both work in the miraculous together. Hallelujah. And they don’t have to be in church. You know, so many times we can find church and a glorious church to these four walls in here.

The glorious church is the church that’s out there being a living example. Hallelujah. That when we’re outside of these four walls, how are you living when you’re outside of these four walls? When you’re away from the rest of the Christians in here, how are you living when you’re out there? Do people see Christ living in you, or do they see somebody who makes them want to say, I don’t want to go to church because they’re a bunch of hypocrites?

Uh, oh, I’ve heard that one too many times. That stings a little bit. You know why? Because there was a point in time in my life where I was that hypocrite. I was the person that people were talking about when they said, well, I’m not going to that church.

It’s just a bunch of hypocrites that go there. Chase goes there. Look how he’s living. I love playing softball. Slow pitch softball.

Man, if I could have played softball my whole life instead of baseball, I’d have done it. I’m gonna tell you that right now. But when I, When I first. When I got out of high school, I started playing softball and I started living like the rest of the guys out there living, you know, and a lot of those guys, slow pitch softball isn’t. They’re not going out there to go play softball.

They’re going out there to give them a reason to drink. Uh, oh, yeah. And you know, when they’re going out there and they’re just living their life, and then when I’m out there and I’m living just like them, what makes Them want to go be a part of my church. What makes me set apart from them. Hallelujah.

And that’s a conviction on my heart. And now I feel like I have a drawing to not necessarily correct that, but compassion to people like that, of hey, straighten up and live right. Because I promise you it’s a better life. See, when I was living that life and I was living and being a double minded person, as the Bible would call it in church, I knew what to say, I knew how to go and I knew how to play it cool and look like everything was going good. But yet on the outside, I wasn’t being that living example.

A glorious church is a church of living examples. And it’s a conviction and a weight on you that you don’t have to carry. Hallelujah. I don’t know if this is you here this morning, but if you’re living under that conviction, God is here to set you free today. If you’re not living the same outside as you are inside these walls, God’s here to set you free.

And I’m here to testify in Jesus name that it is a much better life and a much freer life if you’ll just live your whole life for him. Hallelujah. I’m a living example of that. I work in construction and if anybody in here works construction, you know, them folks are rough sometimes and it’s hard to live with them, but hallelujah, we can be an example. Even on the construction site.

I’ve got a really close friend who, that’s who he feels his call is. He feels his call is not a ministry to a church, but a ministry to construction workers. And he’s a pretty big guy, so I don’t really think I’d say anything cross to him anyway, you know. But. That’S where he feels his call is.

And working in construction, not that it’s any excuse, but it can be a downer. You know, when you’re, when you’re working any environment that’s constantly negative or against the Bible, it’s much harder to be that living example. Hallelujah. You know, and it’s tough to continue going to work and you’re getting up and going to work every morning knowing, man, these guys are just going to be negative all day long. It’s going to be rough.

When your mindset’s already made up 10 minutes before you go to work of I am dreading today and looking for five o’, clock, it’s gonna be a long day, I can go ahead and tell you that. But hallelujah. We can go in the joy and the peace of God. Everywhere we go, we can live. I want.

Let me tell you this. The other day. I walked in the house the other day, and whatever. Katie was my wife. Katie over here.

Thank the Lord for her. I love her to death, but she’s a trip, man. She’s. You know, people ask me, they’re like, what’s Katie like? And I’m like, she’s kind of weird.

I mean, I don’t know. I don’t know how to explain it, really. You just got to get to know her. But this will tell you all you need to know. I walked in the house the other day, and she’s laid up on the couch, all right, One leg on the couch, one arm up here, one leg off the couch and one arm off.

And she’s just kicked back like that. I walked in, I was like, what are you doing, buddy? She said, just living in the overflow. I said, hallelujah. Hallelujah.

I am living in the overflow. Hallelujah. See, even. No matter what your situation is, we can live in the overflow. You know, if you go to work and people want to be all negative Nancy and be a downer, hallelujah, they can do what they want to, but they’re going to get on.

I’m going to get on their nerves because, hey, bless God. I was riding the other day, riding in my truck the other day. Me and the guy working with me, we’re going down. And this all ties into being a living example. And we’re riding down the road, and we’re heading to the beach, North Carolina beach.

It’s a little bit better. But anyway, I’m kidding. I’m kidding. And I’m. I’m never coming back to Salt church.

We were riding down the road, and he’s in there with me. It was quiet, and he doesn’t go to church or anything like that. Knows where I stand. And bless God, he’s gotten to where he’s reading the Bible and everything. And I feel like him being working with me, partnered up.

That’s God ordained. Because man Paul talked about a thorn in his flesh. Sometimes it can be a thorn in my flesh. But no, I thank God for him. We’re riding down the road, and I said.

I said, well, bless God. Hallelujah. He said, huh? I was like, yeah, man. I said, God is good.

He was like, I mean, yeah. Why? I said, well, he gave me breath in my lungs, gave me the health and strength that I could Come to work this morning. He’s like, yeah, praise God. We’re at work.

Hey, but, you know, praise him anyway. Sometimes it’s a sacrifice of praise, but praise him anyway. But that’s how we should live. We should be going out and people should see the joy of God overflowing out of us, you know, when we’re. We’re all so bubbly.

We had a lady working with us one time, and every time she answered the phone, she hello, this is Terri with an I. She’s just so happy. And one of the guys working in there told my dad, he was like. He’s like, monet, nobody’s that happy. But no Christians can be that happy.

Hallelujah. We don’t have to walk around frowning all the time. Woe is me. No, we can walk around because God has given us the authority to live victoriously in Jesus name when he died 2000 years ago. Hallelujah.

And the greatest miracle of all. I’m talking about miracles and everything. The greatest miracle of all is salvation in Christ. Hallelujah. Being washed in the blood.

And if you’re here today, I’m here to tell you there’s no better life than to live a life of life for Christ. To be saved, to be set free. The weight of bondage taken off. You’re dragging your chains around. The Bible says, cast your cares on him.

Don’t worry about it. Too many times people come up to the altar and they want to get prayer and they turn around after they get prayer and they pick their burdens back up and walk away with it. When you leave your burdens and your cares at the altar of Jesus Christ and say, cast it on him. Here it is, God. This isn’t my problem anymore.

I’m going to forget about it. I’m walking away from it. There is a freedom and a liberty. Hallelujah. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

And the spirit of God lives inside of me. And if you’re born again today, he lives inside of each and every one of you. And that’s what people should be, should see as we’re going out and we’re living our lives, being that example, they should see the love of Christ pouring out of us daily. And when we go to work, they’re like, man, hey, you know what? They’re happy to see us.

You know what the Bible says. When the apostles, when they started going out and they started preaching, they’re winning thousands to Christ. Read the first few chapters of the Book of Acts. I’m talking Thousands. And I believe there’s an influx coming into the church in these last days where we’re going to start to see that again.

You know, a lot of my message today came from the early church and the apostles and what they did. You know what the one thing they did, they were in one mind, in one accord in prayer. The Bible says that they devoted themselves to daily prayer and to breaking of bread into fellowship, and they were going out. But you know what else it says? The Bible says the apostles, as they were going out and they were preaching and they were breaking bread and they were praying.

It has this one little phrase in there that sticks in my mind that lets me know that it doesn’t, that people aren’t going to push me away. They may push me away a little bit, but I’m going to have favor with all people. Hallelujah. The Bible says when the apostles went out, they had favor with all people, and thousands were added to the church daily. Hallelujah.

I believe in that as this glorious church, as salt church. As we go out into this community and we shed our light and let our light so shine, we be the salt of the earth, and we be that living example, walking in faith, knowing how to pray, knowing how to give God praise even when it hurts. I was going through situations in my life where people were like. People knew what I was going through, and they said, chase, how are you still so happy? How are you still.

How is everything still okay? Because I had the joy of the Lord in me. Hallelujah. Things weren’t okay if I went by my flesh. I can go ahead and tell you right now, I would have turned to a life of alcoholism.

If I was living according to the flesh, I would have turned to the things of the world. But how many of you know, if we live by the spirit and we walk by the spirit, that we deny the things of the flesh, then it’s a much better life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Well, be that light.

Be a living example as we go out into the world. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Glory to God.

Pastor, you didn’t tell me how to end this thing, so I’m going to end how I want to, if that’s okay. If you would stand with me this morning. Let’s just pray for a minute. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

The Bible says where two or three are gathered, there he is in the midst. I believe the Holy Spirit’s in this place this morning. I believe he’s here and he wants to touch. I believe he’s here and he wants to touch. Because I believe everywhere I go, God wants to move and use us.

Everywhere we go, he wants. He wants to be used. Let us be used. Hallelujah. And I want him to use me this morning.

I hope that you’ve been touched this morning by the things that I’ve said. I’ve said all kinds of things, but most of all, I hope you’ve been touched by the spirit of God. I don’t want anybody to leave here this morning without receiving the touch that they need. If you’re here this morning and you have a need, just call on the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

Lord, touching each, you know, each and every heart here this morning. God, you know what we stand in need of, God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Lord, your word has gone forth. Your Bible says that your word will not return void. Hallelujah. Lord, I pray that you would water seeds that have been sown this morning through this message, God, that as we go out, that we would be living examples, that we would walk by faith, that this house would be a house of prayer. There’s a surrounding community around this church.

God would know that when they’re in need, they know where they can run. They could run to Salt church. Hallelujah. That they know God is doing something in that church. God is moving in that place, Lord, I pray that curiosities be piqued, Lord, that as this church continues to lift up your name.

Lord, your word says that if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me, God, that we would continue to give you praise, Lord, that the surrounding community would just be an influx coming in here, God. That we would see miracles, signs and wonders. Lord, your word says in the last days, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. I’m here to tell somebody, if your kid comes to you in the next coming weeks and says, I had a dream and do not blow them off, pay attention to that dream. I don’t know why I just felt that in my spirit.

But if your child comes to you and says, God, our mom, Dad, I had a dream last night. Pay attention. Write it down. Write these things down. Because we’re going to start seeing these things.

I fully believe it. I believe that we’re in an end time revival. Hallelujah. The Bible says to pray that there will be laborers to go out into the field. Pray that you would be that laborer as you go out in your daily life.

Pray that you would be the one that God, God has sent to touch a heart that day. Pray God, give me an encounter with somebody for you that your power would be manifest in my life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to your holy name.

Praise your name, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

I want to pray for anybody who needs prayer this morning. But before we do that, I want to give an opportunity. If you’ve not received salvation in your heart and if you’ve not accepted Christ as your Savior, this book up here is not a book of rules. This is the best 401k plan you could ever have. It’s the best plan to life that you could ever have.

It is the flawless plan. Satan’s gonna come against you, that’s alright. But God gives us all the answers we need in his word. If you’ve not not committed your life to Christ, I’m here to you tell tell you today is the day of salvation. Hallelujah.

I don’t want anybody to leave here today and not have that opportunity. If you’re here this morning, you say, chase, I’m not where I need to be with Christ. I’m not living the life that I need to be. I’m not being that living example. And there’s something between me and God right now that’s holding me back.

I don’t know for sure that if I died right now that I would go to heaven. Hallelujah. Chase, I just to need your prayer. If that’s you, you just want to slip your hand up. I just want to pray for you.

Hallelujah. Thank you. I see those hands. Thank you. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. God’s here to touch and he wants, he wants your heart. He wants your full attention. And that’s something. It took him a while to get me.

It took him a while for me to realize you know what God wants my everything. And I’ve surrendered him my all. And if you want to surrender your all to him today, just by signifying your hand, I’m not going to call Anybody out? I’m not going to embarrass anybody. Hallelujah.

Thank you. Thank you. You put those hands down, Lord. We praise you, Lord. Hallelujah.

You have a need in your body, you have a need in your life. Financial need. You’re battling with anxiety, depression, things of that. Such you have something going on in your life and you need God to touch. I’m going to ask you to step out of your seat and come up here.

I want to pray for you. God is here and he’s ready to move. He’s just asking. And I’m not trying to embarrass anybody by calling them out. By coming up, you’re signifying by faith.

I believe God can do what I need him to do. I believe God can touch and move in my life like I need him to. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Bless your holy name, Lord.

The Spirit’s in this place and he wants to move. He wants to touch. And who am I to rush and to move on and just to hurry up so that we can get to lunch? Lunch will still be there. It doesn’t.

The things outside of this moment right here, they don’t matter. This is an eternal moment. This moment right here carries eternal weight that’s going to carry on into heaven. That food that you’re going to eat for lunch that you’ve been thinking about ever since I started preaching, that’s going to pass away in about three hours. But the things that are going on right here in this church is going to live eternal, going to last eternal.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise your holy name. Thank you, Lord.

Thank you, Lord. One last time. If there’s anybody else. You’ve got a need in your life, you want God to move, or you say Chase. I need to get my life right.

I need to get back, get back and surrender myself to God. These altars are open. I’m going to start praying. Don’t. Feel free to come up.
