Be of Good Cheer

Amen. Amen. You can be seated. It’s good to be here today. And I don’t know what you’re expecting, but I believe when we show up in his name, he’s always here.

So God is here today. And we don’t have very long to check each other out. I’m already done checking you out. And so don’t spend the whole service doing that. I’m part of your family, whether you like it or not.

The blood of Jesus makes us family. And if at the end of this day you still hate me or don’t like me, I’m going to go to heaven and I’m going to pray that my mansion’s next door to yours. But anyway, it is great to be here. My wife and I, we counted a privilege. We have enjoyed being around your pastor, and we believe that good things are happening.

I see some people that we know that are partners with us here, so we’re glad they’re here as well. But I. I’m just thankful for these times that we have together. You’re going to find out we have two things that God has called us to do. Preach the gospel and bless the poor.

And we don’t get off on a lot of other things. We don’t have several things. We do. We just preach the gospel. We bless the poor.

And for years we just preached the gospel. But then one day, I read in the Bible in Galatians chapter 2, where the elders were speaking to the apostle Paul, and they said, hey, you keep preaching to the heathen, we’ll preach to the Jew. And then while you’re at it, a verse said, remember the poor. Those words stuck out on the page to me. And so I’d been going around the world preaching.

But I would just say, you can get to heaven hungry, you can get to heaven thirsty. I had one thing I did, but when I saw those words, remember the poor. If the Apostle Paul, who wrote two thirds of the New Testament, had to be reminded about the poor, then maybe we need to be reminded at times that we’re blessed and that we are blessed to be a blessing. And so we have been preaching the gospel for 44 years. I don’t know how that is.

I’m only like 46. But anyway, we’ve been preaching a long time, but we have seen God do great things in the last few years, greater than we’ve ever seen. We think there is a window open right now for the gospel to go to some very hard places. We were in Pakistan in November, and one night we had nearly half a million people in service. We had over 300,000 people give their heart to Jesus in one service.

And when you realize where I come from, I come from a little small town in Oklahoma. So when I’m on that platform, all I do is cry because I know that I didn’t open that door for myself. The Lord opened it, and he said that we can do all things through Christ, which strengthens us. So we’re thankful for that opportunity. And we’re going back into Pakistan before the end of the year.

In 2024, we had about 250,000 people in a service. This year, Last year, half a million. This year, we’re believing for 1 million. And what does that take? It takes a lot of buses.

We rent buses to bring people in. We will have more than a thousand buses. And with that, we also. Last year, we had over 250 armed guards at our meeting. And we had 12 special for.

With Lori and I everywhere we went. A lot of people love us there, but there are probably some that would like to eliminate us. Is that a good word to use? I’m just trying to be real here. But the truth is, we believe that God has called us to do these things.

We’re going back into Argentina. God’s opened up doors there. Mayors are getting saved, governors getting saved, and they want their. Their province and they want their city to be saved. And they’re saying, come and pre and will help you preach.

These are the days that we’re living in. God is not willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance. So we’re thankful for that opportunity. And now while we’re doing that, we’re feeding kids meals and present the gospel to them. But we’re doing water wells.

We do water wells in Haiti. We do water wells in Pakistan, and we also do them in India. And, you know, all of us probably have more than one place we can get water at our house. At my house, we can get it in the kitchen. We got a couple of bathrooms.

I can always drink out of the green hose out front, and I will not die. Are you understanding me? But I would say this, that a lot of people don’t have that. We see people that have to walk two miles to go get water from the river. And in Oklahoma, we don’t drink out of the river.

We noodle out of it. You know, and you pretty well have to be drunk to do that. So I don’t do that either. But I will tell you that we’re blessed that we have Water available to us and water is such a blessing. And I’m going to just show you a little video and then you’re going to ask the Lord at the end of the service, you’re going to have an opportunity to get involved because what we do on this video, what you’ll see, we don’t do it alone.

When we go, the people that send us get the same reward that we get. That’s the Bible. It says that doesn’t say the preacher gets everything and you get the crumbs. It says you’ll not lose your reward when you give a cup of water in his name. And I believe when you preach the gospel in his name, you’ll not lose your reward either.

So let’s watch this video together and you let the Lord speak to you. Today. There are still millions never heard the name of Jesus. Entire villages, clean water. Children going, children going hungry.

Families living, families living without hope. But Jesus said in Matthew, said in Matthew 24:14 and this gospel and this gospel of the King shall be preached, shall be preached all the world. All the world. That is our mission. That is our mission to reach to reach the unreached and tell the unto the untold.

We are called, we are called to gospel the gospel. Bl. The poor. Bless the poor by the grace, by the grace of God. We have now now reached 40 nations.

40 Nations with more than, with more than 2 million people respond Invitation, invitation to Christ around the world. And the mission. And the mission continues. Through your partnership, we have drill drilled 300, 300 water wells bringing fresh, fresh clean water, clean water to community. Desperate, desperate need.

We have thousands, thousands hungry children while giving them, while giving them something great, even greater. The gospel of. The gospel of Jesus Christ. But there is, but there is so much more, so much more to do. More souls, more souls to reach more villages, more villages to help more lives to change.

We cannot do, we cannot do it alone. Will you partner with us, partner with us today to help reach unreach until the unto the untold. Together, together we can bring, we can bring hope. Help, Help and the gospel to the nations. Amen.

Now I have a crew that helps us. Obviously I, I can’t be everywhere doing everything, but I, I have a crew in Pakistan, in India and also in Haiti that do these water wells for us. But one of the crew chiefs of our water well drilling team in Pakistan, his name is Philip, Philip called me one day and he said, brother Doug, I want you to look at some pictures I’m sending you while I’m Talking. And I’m looking at these pictures, and he sends me a picture of what looks like a ditch on the side of the road full of muddy water. He said, the community that we’re in, this is the water source for the whole community.

He said, there’s an old man that’s been sitting here watching us. And he said after a little while, he came over and talked to me. He said, I want to thank you for coming here. He said, my little boy, my baby boy died because of drinking unclean water here in this community. And he kept watching, sitting there.

And after they were finished with the water well, he came over and he shook his hand again. He said, thank you for coming. He said, who sponsored this well? Was it the government? And Philip said, no, not the government.

He said, well, what organization? He said, no organization. He said, then who brought this well? He said, jesus Christ. The man looked at Philip and he said, who is Jesus Christ?

Now, that’s quite interesting to me that this man did not know anything about Jesus. I think most people in Virginia beach know something about Jesus. They at least know if they hit their thumb with a hammer to call his name. They may not have him in their heart. They may not know him.

They may not be born again, but most people know something about Jesus. He said, who is this Jesus Christ? And then he asked something that sounded even more ridiculous to our mind, I think is he said, do you have a picture of him? Now, that’s interesting. When he told me that, I began thinking about that.

But he said, doug, I went over to him and I went. Got out of my backpack, my Bible, and I pulled it out. He said, I don’t have a picture, but I got his book. And he began to read to him. John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. He went and read out of Romans 5 that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And he read to him out of Romans that we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God. And it wasn’t very long that he knelt down and gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Now that’s what we’re about.

We’re reaching people that need Christ Jesus. And there’s so many people like that in this world. And I think we need to keep telling people in Virginia beach over and over until they get it. But I’m going to tell you, there are still people that haven’t heard. So we’re going to challenge you to get involved with these things.

If you’d like to do a water well, I’m going to tell you, you’ll not get a better deal anywhere in the world. If you drill a water well in Oklahoma, it’s probably 8,000, maybe 10,000. But in our places that we’re drilling Haiti, Pakistan, and India, we’re able to do it for $1500, $1500. Now, that’s really not a lot to drill a well to impact a whole community. We put it on church property.

So whether it’s a Muslim community or Hindu community, they have to come to the charismatic Pentecostals to get their water. Is that all right? I don’t know what you are, but I’m sorry. I am Pentecostal. I can’t help it.

Okay? I was born into that. But I will tell you, I love the Holy Ghost. All right, so listen, if the word ghost scares you, then you got to just erase the whole month of October. And if you read your Bible, really, when they translate pneuma, which is spirit or ghost, I’m just so old, I say ghost a lot.

But so don’t get nervous, okay? But I just wanted to be with you today. But I want to challenge you. Think about people that haven’t heard even his name. They want to see a picture of him.

They don’t know about the cross. They don’t know that he went there for their guilt and their shame and their sin. And we can send somebody. I’m willing to go. My wife and I, we love to go.

We. We count it a privilege to go. And we’re asking you to help us today. So ask the Lord what he’d have you do that $1,500. I had to buy tires for my wife.

When I put the card out there, it kind of stung a little bit. But in two days, I forgot it cost over $1,500 for tires, for a car. So you could do something today that you might say, well, that’s a little bit. But in a few days, God will turn it back to you. Pressed down, shaken together, running over.

How many believe that? Amen. Well, let’s do something today. Let’s stand. And while we get up on the screen, Acts 27.

I’m going to take one more drink. I don’t know what’s going on with my. My voice. I’ve been preaching all week, but it doesn’t. My voice is not sore.

It’s just something’s in there. Everybody. Okay, you’re drinking your coffee while I’m preaching so I can drink water while I’m preaching. Is that true? Amen.

Because my, you know, my mom always. And we taught in school. Don’t do anything if you don’t have enough for everybody. Well, you had coffee. You could have got it.

All right. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Listen, out in the foyer, we have two books we’ve written. We cannot compromise.

I talk about some really tough subjects there. If you got really thin skin, you probably don’t want to buy the book. But I talk about who goes to heaven, who goes to hell. I even talk about lgbtq, same sex marriage. I talk about some strong things.

I put my foot in it. But I will tell you, I’m not going to tell you what I believe. I’m just going to tell you what the Bible says. And I will tell you right off the bat, I love everybody. So I’m not a hateful person, but I tell the truth.

Because I do love everybody. All right. That book’s $10. Faith for the Holy Ghost. You’ve never been filled with the Holy Spirit.

You ought to read this book. If you have, you’re probably not tapping into all the blessings of the Holy Spirit. And then we have a little brochure about our missions. If you fill it out today. And then you’ll find out this is my very favorite word. You can’t really. It’s not really big here, but it says whatever, alright? I was born a smart aleck and never been redeemed from that.

Alright, But I like that word a lot. But the back has a better word. It’s Philippians 4, 8. Whatever’s pure, just and lovely. Think on these things.

Yeah, I was giving her a look because she’s already ignoring me. All right, let’s read this scripture right here. Acts 27, 23, 25. All right? It says, for there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve, saying, fear not, Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar.

And God has given them all that Sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer. For I believe, God, that it shall be even as it was told me. Father God, we thank you for your word today. May the word penetrate every one of our hearts.

And we mix this word with faith that it would explode in our spirit today. And I pray, Lord, today, that if there be one here that does not know you, one that is here today that is in a backslidden condition, one that is here today that has sin in their life, I pray, Lord, that you would make it hot in here for them today. Let there be the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to draw each and every person to Jesus. And Lord, we are expanding our faith. We are reaching out to you, believing that nothing is impossible today.

And we declare that this is the place of freedom. Lord, any distraction going on in anyone’s mind, we bring every thought into captivity. For the weapons of our warfare, they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, I say be loosed in the name of Jesus. And we are asking for the gifts of the Spirit to be in operation today that we might profit by the manifestation in Jesus mighty name. And everybody said, before you’re seated, tell two or three people, I see great things coming your way.

It’s inevitable. Come on, tell two or three people, I see great things coming your way. It’s inevitable. Hallelujah. Then you may be seated.

All right. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Before I begin today, I wanted to say that I believe that challenges are normal for a Christian. I believe challenges are normal, but I will say it like this, that defeat is unscriptural.

So while we have challenges, I’m going to tell you I am not defeated. All right? Aren’t you glad for that today? But I find here the Apostle Paul, if you get the jest of this story, he is on his way to Rome. And he’s not going there on a cruise ship.

He’s not going there on a pleasure trip. He’s going there as a prisoner to be brought before the court. And on his way there, they began to have a lot of things happen that are not very good. And there are some words that are used to describe the storm that they get in. Struggling, great difficulty, dangerous and terrible.

Here he’s on his way as a prisoner to Rome. And he’s already told them that they shouldn’t leave on that ship. But they don’t listen to him because he’s not in charge. And they go ahead and set sail toward Rome, and it’s pretty bad. But then it gets worse.

And when it gets worse, he gets up, and that’s when he says, you know, there stood by me this night the angel to God, whose I am and whom I serve, saying, fear not, Paul. Thou must be brought before Caesar. And said, be of good cheer. I believe God. He says that after he’s already told them once we shouldn’t have done this.

And they have got to the place. The storm is so bad that it’s been dark for days. They haven’t eaten for days. And it’s so bad that they’re trying to keep the ship from falling apart, and they’re even throwing things overboard. Now, I want to say, have you ever been in a storm?

And maybe not that kind of a storm, but emotionally or physically or even financially, where you felt like everything was falling apart and there’s no way out? Paul, I believe, knows exactly how you feel when you’re going through those things. He stands up, though, in that storm, and I like the words he uses. He says, be of good cheer. I believe God.

He really. When he says, be of good cheer, it probably didn’t go over really big. You know, it’s like you wake up and. And maybe your spouse is a little grumpy, and you say, you’re going to be grouchy all day. You know, it’s kind of like.

I think he was kind of poking the bear a little bit. But he said, be of good cheer. He was telling them, don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged. My word today is, don’t be afraid and don’t be discouraged.

Because I believe, just like Paul, I’m saying something when I say, be of good cheer. I believe the atmosphere is changing. I don’t know what’s going on in your life. I don’t know what’s happening around you in your family, but I’m going to tell you, I. You may have been praying, and it seems like your prayers are hitting the ceiling and nothing is happening.

I declare today that the windows of heaven are opening on your behalf, and there is a shift in the heavenly realm for you today. Somebody say, man, I believe that we see this, that he warned them. And he starts saying, I was there, and an angel stood by me, whose I am and whom I serve. And he says, I believe God and I. I believe we could talk about today.

This is maybe how to get through a storm. But I believe this is just how to live a successful Christian life. I think at many times, you know, we just think, well, I’m not going through anything now, but I will tell you that as we serve God, there are some things that I have found that have helped me that to live a successful, the abundant life. When he stood up, verse 23, he said, there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve. I believe one of the very first things that he said is, I belong to God.

He knew that he belonged to God. Everybody say, I belong to God. I belong to God. Now I believe when you know that you can get through a lot of things, it doesn’t matter what the devil tries to throw at you, doesn’t matter what storms you get in. And you will never know that revelation without knowing your Bible, that you belong to God.

See, knowing your Bible changes everything. It changes even your prayers, because you take your prayers from being a question and say, is this God’s will to the Word of God says, when you know the word of God, it takes you from being a doubter to a believer. My wife loves to play tennis and she plays with some women that, you know, they all go to church. They don’t go to church with us, but they all go to different kinds of churches. And they, when they have problems, they call her or they text her, her phone is blowing up.

Pray for our family and we have something going on. Pray for us. Would you pray for us? And then I’ll see them at a store like Walmart, or I’ll see them at a restaurant and they’ll come up and say, we love when your wife prays because we always get an answer when she prays and we don’t understand, she prays different. Why does she pray different?

I say, that’s easy, because she knows her Bible. When you know your Bible, it changes everything. And I believe today, when you know your Bible, you know that you belong to God. Now I was in Israel not long ago, and when I went to Israel this last time, they changed how things were done before. You would have a guide and the guide would just talk kind of loud and you’d get close when he’d talk about different sites, you know, this is where, you know, Simon Peter’s mother in law was healed.

And they’ll tell you what happened here and they’ll tell you that fire came down from heaven here and, and they would have to talk loud. Well, now they don’t do that. They give the guide a microphone and then you all wear a headset, earphones. And so I had a time there. And one day the Jewish guide came to me and he said, he said, doug, today we’re going to the Upper Room.

The Upper Room, we know that is the day of Pentecost. 120 Were filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit there. And. And if you’re a person that loves the Holy Spirit, that’s a great place for me. I’m looking forward to going there.

And so the guide says. He kind of says it like this. He says, doug, I know that’s your thing. That’s what he called it. He said, I know that’s your thing.

So when we go to the Upper Room, I’ll just give you the microphone and you guys do whatever you want, all right? So I said, great. So I had the microphone on. We walked in the Upper Room, and. And there’s a man there that runs the Upper Room.

They have made the Upper Room like a museum. You know, they told you what happened there years ago. Are you understanding that some of you went to churches like that? They talked about what used to happen. But here at Salt Church, we talk about what is happening.

Somebody say, amen. So anyway, I met the man that runs the Upper Room. You know, he’s like the curator of the museum. And. And he seemed like a nice guy.

And. And we had all these people there. And I’ve been to the Upper Room. You don’t have to do a whole lot. You can have church with dead folks there.

All right? Because God moves. People are expecting something. When we come expecting, it changes the atmosphere. But anyhow, we were there and I.

I knew I didn’t have to preach. I just began to read Acts 1, verse 8. I quoted it, but you’ll receive power after that. The Holy Ghost has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses. I began in Acts chap.

1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing, mighty wind filled all the house where they were sitting. There appeared unto them cloven tongues, like as a fire set upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

When I was done with that, I said, everybody, lift up your hands and let’s just begin to praise the Lord Now. I just began praising the Lord. I closed my eyes and praised the Lord. Now, normally when I’m in church, I don’t close my eyes when I’m preaching, when I’m praying, because I keep my eyes open when I pray. You say, why do I do that?

Because the Bible says, watch and Pray. Well, that was a joke. Okay? Some of you didn’t get it, okay? Some of you are still nervous about me.

I feel it a little bit, all right? But anyway, I keep my eyes open, like in church when I pray, because if something weird happens, I can stop it before it gets weirder. You say, oh, we don’t have any weird people that come to Salt Church. I’m going to tell you something. If you don’t know who the weird people are, you’re probably it, Because I’m going to tell you something.

Listen, Jesus never made anybody weird. The Holy Spirit doesn’t make people weird. You were just weird before Jesus or the Holy Spirit. And you didn’t stop. You know, you went to school.

There was always a weird kid. Didn’t. You didn’t quit going to school because the weird kid don’t stop coming to Salt Church because somebody’s weird. All right, can I get an amen in here? But anyhow, I had my eyes closed because I wasn’t really there to lead the service.

I was there to have my own personal Pentecost. I wanted to have that infilling of the Spirit that they had over 2,000 years ago. And I still believe he’ll fill people today. So I was just getting a refreshing, a refilling, a renewing, and I had my hands lifted up, and all of a sudden something started poking me really hard in the chest. I opened my eyes, and it’s the man that runs the upper room.

He’s poking me in the chest, and I’m looking at him, and he says, sir, you need to be quieter. And I forgot I had the headset on, remember? So I took my finger and I started poking him back in his chest. You need to leave me alone. I said, I’ve spent thousands of dollars to be here.

And I came to praise the Lord. And if I don’t praise him, the rocks are going to cry out. And when I did, I didn’t remember I had the headset on. But the whole group just went up into even bigger praise. And the guy looked at me and kind of rolled his eyes and walked away.

You say, why did I do that? You know, some people say, oh, that wasn’t very Christlike poking that guy in the chest. I don’t know what kind of Jesus you have. You might have some Rastafarian dope smoking Jesus that carries a sheep around, you know, and. And pets him and all that, you know, I don’t have that.

I have a different one. I have the one that came in the temple and turned some tables over and whipped few folks. All right. You can have whatever Jesus you like. All right.

But I, I, I’m going to tell you something. I realize the reason I had a little bit of authority there is because I know that I belong to God. And when you read your Bible, it will tell you who you are. That’s why some people will start reading it January 1st, and by January 21st, they’re already stopped reading it. Because the Bible has revealed some things.

It’s shown sin in their life and, and people don’t like it because sin separates you. But thank God Jesus came to reconcile us back to God. And when Christ comes into your heart, I’m going to be glad that it changes everything. We were nothing, but now we are something. How many thank God for that?

Before Christ, we were an absolute nobody. But when we come to Christ, we become a somebody. We’re an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. And we are the children of God. And the Bible said, for as many as have received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God.

I like those words. Power to become, power to become. What that means is, you may have been, but you will be. You may have been a loser, but you are now a winner. You may have been overcome, but now you’re an overcomer.

You may have been lost, but now you’re found. And, and you may have been beat down, but now you’re lifted up. You may have been a nobody, but now you’re a somebody. Because old things are passed away and all things have become new. How many understand when you come to Christ?

You’re an ambassador for Christ. You are an ambassador for Christ. You are valuable to God. Let me just tell you a story here. I don’t even know if I’m gonna get through more than one point.

Is that okay? Some of you, I’m just gonna try to get do what I feel the Lord speaks to me to do. All right, So I was in Pakistan, and this is several years ago. I was preaching really out on Battlefield Boulevard and whatever the highway is that 64 right there, one exit from CBN. Okay.

And we’re preaching in a tent. And the Lord spoke to me during that time. I was here, I was in revival in, in chesapeake for over 12 weeks. Okay, this is years ago, but the Lord spoke to me during that time. I got a phone call to go to Pakistan, and my calendar was full, but I knew the Lord told me to go.

So I’m going to, I’m going to make this as short as I can. I went later on, and before I went, there was a man from Chesapeake that told my dad. He didn’t tell me, but he told my father that I needed to leave Pakistan one day early. And I thought, you know, when somebody gives a word, like a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom or a prophecy, you know, I judge the person that’s giving it, okay? You know, by your fruit, you’re known.

And if you’re a fruit, you ought to be known, okay? You understand? If somebody’s goofy, don’t let them ruin your life because they give you a goofy word, okay? Just go on with life and just be happy. They’re a little zealous for Jesus, but.

And they need some sense. But some people don’t have any. They got more dollars than cents. These are dad jokes, man. I’m waiting for somebody to get them.

I watch. There’s a thing on social media where the guy’s sitting next to a hyena and he tells dad jokes. And I watch him all the time with my granddaughter, but on silent, because you can’t watch a lot of stuff with out loud because it might not be good, but I love that little dog, the little hyena with its mouth open on the dad jokes. So anyway, I went to Pakistan, I went by myself and I had. The word that was given was, you’re going to have great success.

Well, we had five nights of crusade with over 25,000 people giving their life to Jesus. I think that’s pretty good success. But on Sunday, I am in my hotel room, me and the lizards, alright? The lizards would congregate on the toilet seat. So I, man, it was rough for me.

I called the little man that cleaned my room. I said, can you kill some of these lizards? He says, no, lizards good. They killed the bugs. So I’m going, lizards, bugs, lizards, I don’t know which.

You know what to do. And so I just live with the lizards. All right? But I will tell you, there is no playing Candy Crush when you got lizards. You take care of business, everybody, okay?

We all do it. So I. I don’t know why we’re acting like that’s a surprise. And every other commercial on TV is about something about your business. So.

And you don’t turn the channel. So just stay right here. All right? So anyway, I was done with the crusade on Sunday night and I couldn’t sleep because right now it’s just opposite. It’s daytime here, it’s dark there, it’s just pretty much the opposite.

So my clock was messed up. I don’t even think the Lord was trying to keep me awake. But at 7 or 6am CNN came on my little television, the European edition. They’d speak in English and I’d been there over a week by myself. I’m starting to talk to the mirror, so I’m looking for anything to speak English.

So I turned on the television to see the news. And the first thing the anchor person Sundays is all US citizens are requested to leave Pakistan immediately. Now I’ve been there many times where they tell you not to go, but I’ve never been there where they told you to leave. And something came over me. It was F E A R.

But then as I began to walk around that room, I began to pray in the Holy Spirit. And as I began to pray in the Holy Spirit, something began to rise up. It was Isaiah 41:10. Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God.

I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee. Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. And something began to rise up in me so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. And as I was praying in the Spirit, I began walking around that room like I was 10ft tall and bulletproof. But that afternoon I had a, a little flight from the place I was at, Queta to Lahore to catch a big flight back to New York City.

Like being here in Norfolk, to catch a real flight, you got to go to, you know, somewhere else, you know, Charlotte or, or Atlanta or somewhere. But you’re not getting there from here. Are you understanding that? So we had a one hour flight. I wasn’t leaving the country yet.

I had already changed my ticket to come back one day early, but still now they’re telling me I need to leave immediately. So we go to the airport just for a little one hour flight across the country to get a flight out the next day. And when we get to the airport, before you get on the grounds, there’s a man with an AK47, probably paid for the you by the US government. And he’s sitting there checking everybody’s passport, ticket and looking at your face before they let you on the property. And he takes mine, he looks at it, he looks at me, looks at my papers, looks at my passport.

He does that two or three times. And he finally takes his AK47, points at me. He says, get out of the car. We’ve been waiting for you. All right?

Now, you got to understand, before we left for the airport, I said, you know, they’re telling all Americans to leave Pakistan immediately. I said that to my Pakistani brother. He said, oh, no problem, Doug. No problem. All right.

We get to the airport. They’re forcing me out of the car by pointing the gun at my head and saying, get out of the car. We’ve been waiting on you. Then they point the gun at my Pakistani brother and say, get out of the car with him. He gets out of the car, and he looks at me, says, this not good, brother Doug.

They force us to get into another car, and they. The guy still got his rifle on us, and he’s pointing, and they force us to get in the other car. And when we’re in that car, they take us not to the front of the airport, but around the side, and there’s a side door. And the guy, when we get there, he says, get out of the car and go through that door. We started walking.

We don’t know what’s on the other side. We get to the door, and right before I get to the door, the door swings open, and there’s a man smiling really big with his hand out. He said, I hope you’re not alarmed. He said, I’m the manager of the airport. He said, I know you had a meeting in this city at the soccer stadium.

He said, my mother went there. She’s Muslim, and she’s been sick for over seven years, and your Jesus healed her. He opened the door, and in there, there was a room about this size with food on tables and drinks. He said, I hope you don’t mind, but we want to bless you with some food and some drinks. Would you mind even praying for these people that work here?

I have about 150 employees that didn’t get to go to your meeting. Would you mind praying for them while you eat? I said, no problem. While I’m eating, there were women even kneeling down, black from head to toe with little slits for their eyes, asking for my Jesus to heal them and to bless them. And after a few minutes, the loudspeaker went off and said, last call for my flight.

And so I said to the manager, I said, hey, sir, I need to go. My flight’s leaving. I need to be on that flight. He said, no, you are a very important person. The plane will wait.

About an hour and a half later, everybody’s been waiting on the plane for me. You have to walk out on the tarmac there. You don’t Have a jet bridge. You have to walk out on the pavement. I start to walk out to the plane and they stop me and say, no, sir, no, no, no, wait.

And just a second, they said, we have a ride for you. A Mercedes limousine pulls up and drives me to the plane. And as I’m in that limousine, I begin to remember I’m an ambassador for Christ. That when your ways please the Lord, even your enemies will be at peace with you. Can I get an amen in here?

I don’t know, but I’m going to tell you. I believe you are an ambassador for God. You belong to God. You are valuable to God. Listen, the price that was paid for you is the evidence of your value to God.

I think we sang about the blood of Jesus. I will tell you because of the blood of Jesus, I am a miracle. Everybody say, I am a miracle. Say I am a new creation. Say I am the righteousness of God in him.

Come on. Say I am redeemed. I am loved, I am forgiven. I am justified by grace. Listen, I don’t know, but I’m not what they said I am.

I’m what he says I am. I don’t know how many of you are like me, but I grew up with people putting me down. I was born even there were putting me down all the way through school. Through school. The teachers, you know, they wanted to give me pills and medicine to make me a little less rambunctious.

And my mom said, no, no, no, no, just give him more work. And if I had more work, I didn’t get in trouble. But if I didn’t have work, I got in trouble. And then I get in high school and they say, you’re not going to graduate high school. Well, I graduated high school.

They said, well, you’ll never go to college. Well, I graduated college. But then when I got into Bible college, I will tell you that the president of the school called me in and he said. He said, doug, what do you plan on doing when you’re done with Bible college? I said, well, I know I’m called to preach.

He said, well, I think you need to pick another profession. He was a real encourager. I said, well, sir, with all due respect, I said, I’m already got youth camps scheduled all summer, youth revivals and youth rallies scheduled all summer. And I would say, it’s too late. And he just shook his head.

I’m going to tell you something. I’m glad that I didn’t let those things discourage me, because I’m not what they say. I am. I’m what he says I am. See, when I was born, I was born with a cleft palate.

I had a hole in the roof of my mouth. My lip did not meet in the front. The doctors immediately told my parents, who were pastors, that I would never talk correctly without having years of speech therapy. That I would have to have some kind hearing apparatus to hear. And that I was going to have all kinds of trouble.

But I’m going to tell you, my parents did not believe the report of the doctor. They believed the report of the Lord that said their seed would be blessed. And at two months of age, they took me to an Oral Roberts tent meeting. And brother Oral Roberts took me into his arms and prayed for me. I will tell you, I’ve never had one day of speech therapy.

You may not like how I talk, but this is how a good Okie talks. Are you understanding me? And you say, well, what about my hearing? Well, I will tell you, the only time I have problems hearing is if my wife asked me to do something that I don’t want to do. But when Oral Roberts was done praying for me, he took me up in his hand.

He’s six, four. He held me over the crowd and he lifted me up and. And he began to prophesy. He said, this little boy will preach the gospel throughout the world. I’ve been all over the world, and being here today at Virginia Beach, I fulfilling prophecy.

I know that I belong to God today. I am an ambassador to God. And I can’t be inferior when I am a child of God. Are you understanding that? Romans 10, verse 12 and 13.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall saved the living. Bible says the same Lord who generously gives his riches to all those who ask him for them. The Amplified says he generously bestows his riches upon all who call upon him in faith.

I don’t know about you, but the God I serve, he owns the cattle on a thousand hills. And the gold and the silver are his. God is affluent. And when he gives, he gives like there’s something worth receiving. You can belong to God in this place.

You can be like me today and say, I belong to God. You’d be surprised how many people that do not know that they belong to God. When I ask people all the time, are you ready to meet God? People will say, I’m not sure. I don’t Know, I was in Guatemala recently, and the waiter was waiting on us and the food was taken forever.

And I called him over and I said, if you died, sir, would you go to heaven or hell? Our whole group kind of got their eyes big because they said, man, Doug, you went from 0 to 100 right off the bat. And they were a little nervous because they thought maybe he would spit in our food or something. And I said, sir, if you died, would you go to heaven or hell? He said, I’m not sure, folks, I will tell you.

You don’t have to hope you go to heaven. You don’t have to wish you’d go to heaven. You don’t have to be 98% sure or 99% sure. You can be 100% sure. Because if you’re only 98 or 99% sure today, I say you’re 100% lost.

First John 5:13 says, you can know you have eternal life. The Bible says in Luke chapter 10 that you can know your name is written in heaven. In Romans 8, it says you can know that you are a child of God. So you don’t have to go through this life biting your fingernails about eternity. You don’t have to be worried about it, but you can know that you belong to God.

You can know that your name is written in heaven. You can know that you have eternal life. I’m asking you today, do you know, are you 100% sure? The Bible says you are bought with a price. First Corinthians 6, 20.

Therefore, glorify God and in your body and in your spirit, which are God. So the same price that was paid for you is the same price that was paid for anyone else. So it doesn’t matter if you’re a king or a beggar, you’re rich or you’re poor, you’re young or you’re old. I will tell you God loves you as much as anyone else. Today, while you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you.

And there are unlimited possibilities with God. I’m going to really quick do this. But he said Paul did in Acts 27:23, there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve. I believe when you know you belong to God and you serve God. I serve God.

You can get through anything. I serve God. I belong to him and I serve Him. You need to get this right. He, you know, some of us are walking around and living our life.

Well, he serves me. I went into Starbucks today, and I think about it, I ordered like This I said, I’ll take a grande blonde latte, coconut milk, two Splenda and whipped cream. All right? And, you know, I think some of us pray like that. God, I want all this.

And then can you add a little whipped cream on it? But I want to tell you, not only God will serve you, but you serve God. And I’m going to leave that alone here a little bit. But I will tell you that if you want to be great in the kingdom of God, it’s not having people pat you on the back. But he said, he that is greatest is servant of all.

I have a friend of mine that is probably the number one man that I know that feeds kids around the world. And everywhere they go, people want to be with him, but he’s the kind of guy. Can I get you a coffee? Can I help you with your bag? Can I bless you some way?

And I found out how he got big and how he’s great is because he is a servant like Jesus. All right, let me go on down here. I’m going to read one more thing to you, and then I’m going to. I’m going to be close to being done. All right?

He said here verse number 25. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer. For I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me. Be of good cheer. Don’t be discouraged.

I believe God. Paul said, I belong to God. I serve God, and I believe God. Whatever you’re going through today, if those three things will stick with you. I belong to God, I serve God, and I believe God didn’t say, I believe in God, the devils believe in God.

But it said, I believe God. There’s a difference. And I believe today that Paul said, I believe God. Because he knew that whatever you have faith for is what God will do for you. And God will do anything today if you can believe him.

And he stands up in that ship and everybody’s ready to die. Even they’re going to say, let’s kill the prisoners. But thank God he had a little favor with the captain, but yet they were ready to give up. But he said, look, look, I belong to God. I serve God.

And I believe God. And I believe he was courageous. And I’m asking today, where are some courageous people? So we got a lot of people today that are. I say they’re a Christian, but they’re afraid of their shadow.

Folks, I’m going to tell you something. This isn’t the time to cower in the corner. I believe that we need to have some strength. And our strength comes from the Lord. A lot of people say, well, you know, I don’t want to be canceled.

Why do people cancel things? Because they’re afraid. We cancel immorality, we cancel witness, we cancel anything in the Bible we don’t agree with. And I’m going to say this today, if you find something in the Bible that you don’t like, the problem’s not with the Bible. The problem is with you, man.

I should have said that after we took an offering. That was a little harsh, I think, but it’s all right. Everybody say whatever. But I want to say, I want to close with this. You know, I said challenges are normal, but defeat is unscriptural.

This preacher, I’ve had challenges, but I’m not defeated. Are you understanding me? There’s an old song rose up in my spirit the other day. Nothing’s too big for God. I’m not going to be discouraged.

I’m not going to be depressed. Nothing’s too big for my God. I want to close with one story, probably the greatest miracle I’ve ever heard. I could tell you about miracles. I had a miracle of a man out here by the name of Ricky Weathersby was healed of AIDS in one of our services right here in Chesapeake area, in this Tidewater area.

So that’s a great miracle. But I want to tell you one I’ve heard. There’s a lady by the name of Betty Baxter. Betty Baxter traveled nine years with Oral Roberts giving her testimony. And if you want to watch her go on YouTube and she preaches it herself, but she’s gone on to be with the Lord.

But Betty Baxter was 11 years old, but she was born with a lot of deformities. She had knots up and down her spine, born that way. Her head went one direction, stuck that way, her body went the other way. She was bent over. At 11 years old, she was bent over to the point that she was only the same height as her four year old brother.

And yet her. All of her organs were out of place, none of them were where they should be. And she’d been to all the specialists to look for help. Her dad had even taken a second mortgage out on the house to try to help. But they went to these specialists and the specialist gave up and said, go home and prepare to die.

That was the good news the physician gave. They went home and they went to their pastor and their pastor. Betty’s mom went to the pastor, said, would you pray for a miracle? Her pastor said, well, we believe that miracles have ceased. Folks, I don’t know what kind of pastor that is.

If you go to a church, they say miracles have ceased. You’re going to the wrong church. Because the Bible that I preach from is the gospel of hope. Tomorrow can be better than today. Can I get an amen in here?

I don’t know what kind of, you know, I, I could stick my foot in a lot of things, but most of those guys that say miracles have ceased and they get off on a lot of things, then they’re mad at women for preaching. And, you know, they’re, then they’re mad at, you know, they’re mad at people that believe in speaking in tongues and being filled with the Holy Spirit. And I’m like. And they call it a demonic manifestation. Well, when you say that, I know longer.

Listen to one word you say,. Okay? You can have all kinds of letters after your name and still be stupid. PhD might mean post hole digger for some people. And an average post hole digger would have more sense than that.

I’m going to tell you something. Because you read the Bible, women were the first people that said, he’s alive. Amen. So I don’t. This Bible empowers women.

It does not take away from women. He said, I’ll put. Pour my spirit out upon all flesh. Okay, I better stop there. I just like to put my foot in some stuff, but I’ll wipe it off on the way out.

So anyway, Betty went to her pastor. He said, we don’t, we don’t believe in miracles. I’m not praying for you. He said, we just got to make her ready for eternity. Man, what kind of blessing is that?

So they went home. Betty’s mom began to read the Bible. She’s 11 years old. She’s going in and out of consciousness, but her mom reads the Bible and comes up with one verse that nothing is impossible for God. They had nothing else to stand on except nothing is impossible for God.

So they started believing that. And they were praying. Betty’s mom. Betty said her mom would not leave her but more than a few seconds. She’d always be in the room with her.

She’d leave maybe for a few seconds, but one day she said, I’m going to be gone a few minutes, but you’ll be all right. I’ll just be outside, but I got to handle something. She stepped outside the door and Betty said, here she is. Her head’s going one way, body the other way. Both arms paralyzed.

She’s been over the size of a 4 year old. The yet she’s 11. Her organs are completely all messed up. Her heart’s so weak that her grandmother couldn’t even come and visit her because they were afraid that if she got too excited, she would die. Specialist gave up.

She knows she’s dying. Her mom walks out of the room. Betty’s 11. She begins to pray. But she’s been going in and out of consciousness.

And as she prayed, she said the Lord spoke to her. She’s 11 years old. She said the Lord spoke to her, said, August 4th at 3pm you will be healed. She heard that voice. She began to cry.

She thought, am I hallucinating? I’m not going to tell my mama about this because maybe I’m crazy. I’m going in and out of consciousness. Her mom came in and saw Betty crying. She said, betty, what’s wrong?

She said, well, I was praying. She said, but nothing’s wrong, Mama. She said, are you sure? She said, no, nothing’s wrong. She said, well, I want to tell you.

While I was outside the room, I was praying. And while I was praying, she said, the Lord spoke to me that you would be healed. August 4th at 3pm they began to rejoice together. Betty looked at her mom. They got a calendar.

They looked to see what August 4th was. It was a Sunday. She said, Mama, that’s August 4th at 3pm she said, Would you go to town and get me a new dress and shoes? Because I’m going to go to church on Sunday night and I’m going to look pretty like all the other little girls. Girls.

How many know what? That’s expectation. Expectation prepares you for a miracle. So they went to their pastor. He thought, they’re crazy.

They told people in church. People in church didn’t believe, but they had a word from the Lord. Nothing’s impossible for God. He’s going to show up August 4th at 3pm Even her dad was a little skeptical because he loved his daughter and he didn’t want her to be, you know, disappointed. But he still hung with them.

But he said, I don’t know. But you know, he still, dad, he loves his daughter and he loves his wife. Finally, August 4th came. A couple of relatives came. They were look, you know, they were just going to look and see.

Couple of neighbors came, couple people from the church, but not the pastor. And they’re all in little Betty’s bedroom. That afternoon, Sunday afternoon, Betty asked her mom, she said, mama, what time is it? She said, It’s 2:30. She said, Mama, don’t you think we ought to be praying when Jesus comes now, that’ll preach right there.

They began to pray. 2:45, Everybody in the room was praying. 2:50, 2:55, Nothing’s going on. They got the door shut, the windows are shut. Three o’, clock, the curtains kind of moved.

And all of a sudden the first thing that happened was all those knots on Betty’s back began to disappear. They made a noise. When they disappeared, her head that was twisted turned, her body turned, her arms that she could not use, they began to move. She straightened up and when she straightened up, she was no longer the size of a 4 year old, but she’s the size of a normal 11 year old girl. She said the last thing that happened, she felt like a hand reached in and rearranged everything on the inside of her.

All the organs were put back into place. Doctors checked her out from all over the world. It was front page news, AP news all over the world. She gave her testimony for years. But I tell you that today because somebody in this place today, maybe you think something’s too hard for God.

But I doubt your thing is any worse than Betty Baxter. I belong to God. I serve God, I believe God. Everybody say that with me. I belong to God.

I serve God and I believe God. I want everybody to stand with me. All right, Stick with me. All right, we’re not going to take forever. But if you can stay, please do dismiss together in a minute.

But when I say I belong to God. Do you know you belong to God? Do you know you’re a child of God? Are you 100% sure if you died you’d go to heaven and not go to hell? I asked that question.

You know, some people get nervous when you talk about heaven and hell. Jesus spoke more about hell than anybody in the Bible. So we need to be sure we’re going to heaven when we die. If you got sin in your life, you’re not ready for heaven. You say, well, you know sin, Everybody sins.

Well, we have all sin. You say, sin’s not that big a deal. Well, the Bible says he that sins is of his father, the devil. Wow. If sin were no big deal, then why, when Jesus is coming down the road, John the Baptist sees him and said, behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

He didn’t say, behold the Lamb of God, that you know, he’s just here to encourage you and call you some good names. Today he said he’s going to take away the sin of the world. If sin were no big deal, God could have just sent a book down from heaven. But he sent his only begotten son. When he went to that cross, he didn’t go there for his sin.

He didn’t go there for his guilt. He was without sin or guilt. He went there for you and I. And if you know about the cross and you know what Jesus did, and you sit there in your sin and do not respond, you’re frustrating the grace of God. That’s what the Bible calls it, frustrating the grace of God.

And many people say, well, I’ll do it someday. Someday. Someday. You know that you are not invincible. Nobody in this building is invincible.

I found out about not being invincible at 15 years old. I was playing with the. One of my friends goofing around. We’re 15 years old. He’s chasing me with a pitchfork with a snake on the end of it.

We lived in the country. And I’m laughing, but I’m. I can’t hardly run because I’m laughing so hard. But I’m afraid of snakes. I’m not really afraid of pitchfork, but I’m afraid of the snake.

All right. Next day, I get a phone call from his sister. Say, hey, there’s. She’s crying. My brother was pulling a tractor out of the ditch, was stuck in the ditch.

He’s pulling out with another tractor, had a nylon rope with a chain on it. That’s very common. And pulling out that other tractor, and that nylon rope snapped, and the chain hit my brother in the back of the head. He’s gone. That’s when I realized I’m not invincible.

I’m not trying to say that in the next five seconds, you’re going to be gone. But I’m telling you, you always need to be ready. You got sin in your life. You’re not ready. You got disobedience in your life.

You’re not ready. And I’m gonna give you one more. If you got unforgiveness, well, you don’t know what they did to me. You don’t want what my sister did. When mama died, I was supposed to get the piano.

Well, here’s what I say. Shut up. You can’t play the piano anyway. And second of all, your sister did you a favor. Pianos are heavy.

All right, well, listen, why do I say unforgiveness? Because the Bible says if you don’t forgive, you will not be forgiven. That’s a tough one right there. So I want you to bow your heads and close your eyes. All right, everybody bow your head and close your eyes.

Check yourself. Take inventory of your Life right now. If you died, would you go to heaven or hell? Are you ready to meet God? If you’re only 98 or 99% sure, I say, you’re 100% lost.

How many in this building. How many in this building would say, preacher, I’m not sure I’m ready to meet God today? Maybe you have sin, disobedience or unforgiveness, and you say, preacher, I need your prayer today. Would you lift up your hand and just signify you need prayer today. I’m not sure I’m ready to meet God, but I need your prayer today.

Would you lift up your hand in this building? Come on. Is there somebody that would be honest enough to lift up your hand? You say, you’re putting me on the spot. You know, one day you’ll stand before God and he’s gonna remind you, maybe you didn’t like the man that came from Oklahoma, but he’s gonna say, remember that guy that came with the weird accent?

I sent him there for you. Is there somebody here today that have enough courage to say, preacher, I’m not sure that I’m ready to meet God, and I need your prayer today. Would you lift up your hand in this place right now? Make sure I don’t miss it. Somebody today.

Here’s what I’m going to ask you to do. I really don’t believe what I’m seeing, okay? But that’s okay. I’m going to go on. It’s still whosoever will.

But here’s what I want to say to you today. How many of you here, and you say, preacher, I need a miracle in my life if God will do that for Betty Baxter. One of the greatest revelations in the Bible is in Acts 10:34, that God is no respecter of persons. If he did it for her, if he did anything for her, he can do something for you. If he did it for anybody else, he can do it for you.

How many say today, I need a miracle in my life. If that’s you, I want you to come stand right here in front of me. I’m going to pray with you. I’m not going to take very long. We’ll dismiss together.

It won’t take very long. A prayer of faith doesn’t take that long. But I need a miracle. Come stand with me right here. I don’t know if it’s a physical miracle, financial miracle, family miracle.

Just come stand with me. Nothing to be ashamed of today. All right? We’re just depending on the Lord. That’s it.

Hallelujah. I need the Lord to touch me some way. I need the Lord to touch my family. I need him to. I need him to open a door.

I need a miracle, whatever it might be. I’m asking you to just come stand here. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Here’s what I want you to do. My brother’s gonna just play music, real soft.

But while he’s playing that music, I’m gonna pray for you. But you can come down this altar and say, I just need whatever. A general prayer generally goes unanswered. But here’s what I’m going to ask you to do. Be very specific.

He said, whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them. Your faith needs to have a target. What do you need the Lord to do? If it’s a family problem, you know what needs to be done. You pray that way.

If it’s a physical problem, maybe you got a high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and you know the level it should be. Pray, Lord, I need my blood sugar to be this, and I’m asking youg to do it today. Whatever your prayer is, you need to have faith. He said, you have not because you ask not. So I want you to lift up both hands if you’re physically able.

Come on. Everybody can do that. The Bible says, I will. That men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and without doubting. That means mankind.

When we pray, we lift up our hands. It’s the Bible way to pray. Because you’re showing God you’re not mad at Him. You’re here in faith. That’s why we lift up our hands.

So I want you to ask for a miracle right now. What is it? You begin to do it right now. You just begin to do it. And then when hands are laid upon you, I’m going to touch either on the shoulder or the forehead.

When I pray for you, I’m believing for a miracle for you, Father. God, in the name of Jesus. Everyone that is represented here today, Lord, I’m believing for a miracle in their heart and in their life. Lord, I’m believing for their family. I’m believing that sickness and disease has got to go.

Lord, I believe in today, Lord, that open doors will happen. Doors are opened by the lord, according to Second Corinthians 2 and 12. But I’m believing, Lord, for the power of God to move on each and every one of these people’s behalf. I say, devil, you’re a liar. You got to take your hands off.

We belong to God. We Belong to God. We serve God and we believe God. We believe it shall be done, Lord. We believe that we lay hands on the sick and they recover.

Any sickness has got to go. In the name of Jesus. We believe there’s an impartation today in the name of the Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord, for the power of God moving right now in Jesus name. Thank you Lord, for the spirit of the living God.

In the name of Jesus, Lord, miracles happen now. In the name of the Lord, Lord, that you’ve given him dreams and you’ve given him desires. Lord, sometime the dream looks like a looks like a nightmare. But I say the dream shall come to pass. In the name of Jesus, Lord, the steps of the righteous are ordered of God.

We believe right now. In the name of Jesus. Receive in the name of Lord. Come on, let God touch her right now. Father God, in the name of Jesus.

No weapon formed against this shall prosper. Lord, let there be a miracle on his behalf right now. In the name of Jesus. We agree together. Come on.

God’s touching you right now. Come on. I don’t know what, I don’t know what you think, but I’m telling you, he’s not done blessing you. Come on. I’m telling you, he’s not done blessing you today.

I see. Some of your relatives, when you talk about the goodness of God, they just kind of shrug it off. Some of them been a little antagonistic, some of them been a little even ugly. But I’m going to tell you, in these days, the Lord’s saying, go back and tell them again. Go back and tell them again.

Something’s changed. But when you go back and tell them again, do it one on one as you do it one on one, and they’ll open their heart and you’re going to begin to see some things change. Some things that you thought that they were against, that they pushed up against. They were even like Saul on the road to Damascus, they were kicking against the power of God. But you’re going to see that they’re going to begin to open their heart.

You’re going to have friends that are going to open their heart and they’re going to be coming to you because you are going to pray and you’re going to be pray the word of God and it will bring miracles. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, let the power of God flow right now. In the name of the Lord, thank you for this life right here. I plead the blood over his mind, over his body, over his spirit in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for the spirit of Lord brings liberty now.

I was in southwest Missouri. Prayed for a man. He was in a wheelchair. Looked like he was without a spine. He was just all slumped over.

I saw him three weeks later. Didn’t recognize him. He came up. He said, I was the guy you prayed for in the wheelchair three weeks ago. He said, when you prayed for me, the switch of faith was turned on, but I refused to turn it off.

He said I kept saying, by his stripes, I’m healed. He said I kept saying, they lay hands on the sick and they recover. He just kept quoting scripture. I believe the Word is how you keep faith turned on. He said, I woke up the next morning and all the symptoms that I’d had were gone.

He’d had been told by the doctors that he had arthritis, but it was the kind that just shut your organs down. It was shutting him down. He said, I woke up, I hadn’t been out of bed in three weeks because I couldn’t move. He said I woke up, couldn’t move. But he said, I woke up with the switch of faith turned on.

I’m telling you, keep that switch of faith turned on. Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord, touch this life right now. Miracles happen. And in her life. In the name of Jesus, Lord by your stripes, we’re healed.

We’re whole. In the name, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for the power of God that flows in the name of Jesus. I say devil, you’re a liar. This is.

This is a servant of God, Lord, what he’s done for others. Ephesians 6:8 says, Whatsoever good thing, any man do it. The same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Lord, he’s laid hands on hundreds and hundreds of others. Blessed others, Lord, we believe for a blessing for him now.

In the name of Jesus, no weapon formed against him shall prosper. In the name of the Lord. Power. Power. Power.

Power. Everybody. Everybody lift up your hands and say this with me one more time. I belong to God. I serve God, and I believe God.

How many. How many believe that today? It’ll get you through anything in this life. Now, listen, I know I’ve run over on time a little bit, but I want to just say this to you. One of the water wells we were.

We’ve done in Haiti was at a little. A room smaller than this. We had 500 kids feeding them. And. And we put a well there.

Little tin roof, dirt floor. We put a well for that community. The pastor took me out to see it. He said, brother Doug, we’ve been praying for 13 years for a water well for this community. We have to walk over two miles to get water.

He said, you’re the answer to our prayer. And he’s crying. And I thought. I thought God answered prayer. But I began to read the Bible.

Luke 6. 38. Give and it shall be given good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall men give unto your bosom. He said, you’re the answer to our prayer. Listen, there are people in this world just like us.

We have family. We’re praying for them to be saved. Send somebody that they’ll be saved. There’s people in this world that maybe they’re praying, Lord, send somebody to feed my kids today, or send somebody that we might have fresh water today. We can be the answer to somebody’s prayer.

I think in this building, we probably have two or three people that could easily do a whole water well. But you know what? If you can’t do a whole, do a half, can’t do a half, do a third. You know, I can do the math. You can’t do that.

Fifteen of you could do it well at $100 a piece, and you wouldn’t even think about it by the time you got home. That’s like going to McDonald’s twice now. Just kind of kidding. But not. Not really.

So we can do something significant for the kingdom of God. How do you do the ushers? Do they come to the front? All right, you can go back to your seat real quick. Ushers, come on.

Come on up here. We’re going to pray. What can you do today? All right, do you pass it or do they come to you? How do you do that?

You what? Okay. All right. I just want to know how you do it here. Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray for these that are here.

Lord, help them to get involved in the harvest. You said the harvest is plenty. The laborers are few. I’m available. I’m asking to be sent.

Lord, help us to preach the gospel and bless the poor today. Let our life be significant that we can serve God today by our giving. We love you today with all of our heart. We thank you for something good that’s getting ready to happen. Listen, they’re going to show you a way to give.

I think on the screen. If you want to give, you know you can. You can also give out in the foyer. We have a way to do it out there as well, but we want everybody to get involved. We love you today.

We pray, Father God that the word out of his mouth would be blessed and anointed. Lord Jesus, Father, we thank you for what you’re going to do. Father, we look forward to hearing great and wonderful things out of his minute, out of their ministry. Lord God, we thank you for them.

Lord Jesus. They’re a blessing to us. Father, we thank you for this day. Father God, we pray right now that you would bless everyone here. Father, go before us this week, Lord Jesus, Father, as we get up every day, Lord God, Father, we turn our hearts to you in your name.
