We are in the middle of a series, or actually we started a series last week called This Is My Story. And this is part two of the four-part series, This Is My Story. My story will change. Can you say that with me?
My story will change. And it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what race you are, what economic background you're from, wherever your culture takes you, or everybody has a story. And stories are very important. And there's parts of those stories that we like sharing, right? We're kind of proud of, you know?
When I was here, and now I'm here, and I was there, I was lost, and now I'm found, I was in debt, now I'm free from debt. And we love to share those parts of the stories, right? But the stories we don't necessarily like to share are the negative ones, right? We keep quiet about that. In fact, sometimes we write or we blot out entire chapters of our story as if they didn't exist.
But I'm here to tell you today that God is not finished with you. He has a story for you. He has, he has something special for you. And I want to take you on this journey to discover your story, to help you through your story. Because you can have a story worth telling.
Everyone has a, wants a story worth telling. That's why we're fascinated with movies and books and, and all the things that we're a part of. Because we all enjoy stories. And you want a story worth telling. I want a story worth telling.
And we want to make decisions for those stories worth telling. I love how Craig Groeschel puts it like this. He says, decision, the decisions you make today determine the stories you tell tomorrow. So every decision is significantly important. Every little decision that you make will determine the story you tell.
Andy Stanley says it like this. I love this. Direction, not intention, determines destination. Direction, not intention, determines destination. We can have all the intentions we want to, to, to be somewhere or do something or have a story.
But unless we start pointing in that direction and walking in that direction, then it's just intention. Direction, not intention, determines our destination. Have you ever done something that's just like really awkward or, or, or, or, or something happens that you kind of wish you played back in your head and you thought it through a little bit before you did it? Can I have a raise a hand? How many people have, have experienced something like that?
I think everybody in there, maybe you, you were, you know, fixing the house and, and you did like a, a Tim the Tool Man Taylor and fell off the roof and broke like your back. And you're like, why did I lean on the ladder like that? I thought, you know, maybe you have a story like that. Or for me, there was one story that just kept coming up in my head that I wish I had played out. And it was back when I was a teenager and I had this crush on this girl.
And I thought, you know, I'm going to go up and, and you know, those, the, the, the gum, I think it's like icy hot or something like that. And it seems, it's a really strong gum, particularly if you, if your breath's not that good, it means it's working, right? There's actually science behind it. Like if it's really like strong gum, man, my breath must not be good, right? I think some of you know where this story is going and some of you may not, but I thought I was going to be cool and I was going to go over and offer her some gum.
So I got my gum in my pocket and strutting over. I said, hey, how you doing? You know, Miranda's laughing because she's, so yeah, I'm like, I'll pull out, I'm like, how about, how about some gum? And you know, she took some gum and she said, thank you. I appreciate that.
And we're, we're chewing. I said, it's just pretty strong, isn't it? He says, yeah. I says, that's because your breath's bad. And I'm, I'm, I'm like, what?
What did I, no, no, that's not what I meant. I didn't mean your, your, your breath's bad. I, I, I meant that it, it's strong. It works. I was trying to be like, you know, like knowledgeable, you know, that's why this gum works.
You know, I didn't know what I was, I didn't think through it. So if I went back, I would have never, ever, ever went there. No, your breath's not bad. I'm not, you know, I'm not smelling your breath. But anyway, we do stupid things like that all the time without thinking through them.
Like, you know, take it back. So a word of advice is, when we decide to do something, it's always good to kind of think ahead. Like, play the story out. How is this story going to go? What are we going to, if I make this decision, where would it, will it carry me?
What will it do? What, what will the story do? It's a great exercise. And, and, and how do we live a story worth telling? And I want to use this example for, and later on as, as I talk through this, so, so track with me.
But I want you to consider letting God be a part of writing your story. Let God be a part of writing your story. In fact, Hebrews 12, 2 says, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Let him be a part of the story. He, let him be the author.
So, we started last week talking about starting our story. I will start my story, is what we talked about last week. And the idea of that is that we have some things. We weren't talking about starting a business or starting a ministry. We were talking about starting small things in our lives, maybe habits.
And we talked about habits and how small habits kind of, kind of lead us to greater habits and more positive, more, a better positive life to live. And, and, and, you know, sometimes we need to learn to start. But, and today we're going to talk about my story will change. But next week's a really good one. So, you want to be here for this one.
My story will remain. Because sometimes God calls us to stay right where we are. And we miss what God has for us because we're so focused on, and we're, and we're grumpy about it even. And we have bad attitudes about it because we want to be somewhere else. Why am I here?
Why, why are you doing this? And, and you know, the most positive people, and I know I'm getting on next week's message because I'm so excited about it, but the most positive people are the ones who are content right where they are. They're happy, they're content, and they're just excited what God's doing right where they are. And we're going to talk about, we're going to talk more about that next week. In the fourth week, we're going to talk about my story will go.
That we're called not only to remain, but we're also called to go. So, so today I want to deal with a text, Exodus 18. If you, if you have Bibles, you can turn to Exodus 18, starting with, with verse 17. And, and if you, if you have your notes, you can, we have some notes there for you. The scriptures are in the notes.
The scriptures are on the screen. You can pull out your phone if you want to use your YouTube, your YouVersion Bible app, or anything. There's all kinds of methods here to, to follow along. So, follow along with me here. And to give you some context, Moses was terribly overwhelmed.
In this timeline of this story, the, the Israelites have been delivered from the hands of Egypt. through the part of the river. And to give you some context, Ephesians born in the unless you need to check our They were forming as a nation. There was a lot going on. And Moses was carrying a heavy load.
In fact, he was very overwhelmed because the hundreds and hundreds of people were coming to him every day to judge. To judge the law of God. To go to God for guidance and how to handle these matters. And he was the leader. He was the judge.
He was the mentor. He was doing it all. So his father-in-law visits. And probably there, you know, like our mother-in-law and father-in-laws do. They come into town to visit the kids.
And I'm sure he was there for that reason. You know, just to fellowship and be with them. And he saw what was going on with Moses. And he said this. And starting in verse 17.
Moses' father-in-law replied, What you are doing is not good. What you are doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you. You cannot handle it alone.
Listen now to me and I will give you some advice. And may God be with you. So here's the advice that he gives them. He says, Moses, be people's representative. Listen to God.
Settle their disputes. There's nothing wrong with doing that. But what he did, what he suggested is that you take these leaders. You need to pick some godly men, some godly leaders and set them over the people. Some over thousands, some over 100s, some over 10s, some over 50s.
Set them over the people and let them handle the smaller disputes. And then when there's a major task, you can settle those. And then in verse 22, it says, the part B of verse 22, that will make your load lighter. That will make your load lighter because they will share it with you. And if you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain.
And all these people will go home satisfied. Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. So Moses, immediately after hearing his father-in-law, stopped what he was doing and changed some things. He changed his direction. And as a result, we have the story of Moses today because he made some changes in his life.
So I want to point out three things today. Three things today. These are things that we all need to consider if we're called to change. Because again, we can start something, but if we're not changing, if we're not consistently changing, if we're not thinking about our direction, then we have no destination. You don't know what you're missing.
Number one, you don't know what you're missing if you don't change. If you don't change, you have no idea what is on the other side. You don't have any idea what blessings are there. Maybe you're overwhelmed, like Moses. Maybe you're dealing with a lot of things and you don't know how to get from day one to day two.
And you don't know how you're ever going to get anything done. Maybe if you change some things, you would feel healthier. You would feel more at peace. You would actually be livelier. You would have more time and more money if you just change some things.
You don't know what blessings are on the other side if you begin to change. If you change some things about your story. Proverbs 16, 17 says, The highway of the upright avoids evil. Those who guard their ways preserve their life. I love that.
They preserve their lives. That if you make changes, if you begin to put things up to help not only protect you, but to protect the others around you, you will experience changes. Number two, you don't know what it will cost you if you don't change. You don't know what it will cost you, cost you if you don't change. Again, play the decisions forward.
The story forward and begin to think about if I don't make some decisions here, where will this carry me? What will happen the next day, the weeks, the months, the years forward? Perhaps you're an overeater. Just for example, you know you eat too much. Maybe you're not gaining a whole lot of weight right now, but you feel like you're getting terribly unhealthy.
And you think in the future, if I continue down this road, if I continue to do the things I do, if I continue to eat the ways I eat, if I continue to sit in front of the TV most of the day, it's not good for me. And my life could be shortened. I could experience unhealthy things in my body. All kinds of things could take place. Maybe you're a smoker.
Maybe it's time to stop smoking. Maybe it's time to make a change in life. Maybe you abuse over-the-counter drugs. And you've got to play these things forward and say, I use, I do, play the story forward. Maybe these are some things you need to change about your life and your story.
If I'm not healthy, if I won't be able to see my grandkids one day, right? If I'm smoking and I'm practicing unhealthy things, I might not be able to be with them one day. Maybe you're looking at porn. Maybe porn's an issue for you as it is for many, many men. Play the story forward.
It could ruin your relationships in the future. It could ruin your current relationship. It could even ruin the marriage you may not even have yet or the marriage that you're currently in. Play the story forward. Maybe you keep overspending.
Maybe that's something you deal with. You're an overspender and you spend so much money that you don't have any money for your children to put them into extracurricular activities and sports and things like that. And I'm sorry, honey, I can't get you those new pair of shoes that you need for the football team. I just don't have the money because you're an overspender. Or maybe, maybe, maybe you're partying with your friends.
And you look at your friends. And you say, do I really want to go down that path? You have the friend with the DUI. You have the friend that can't keep a job. You have the friends with substance abuse issues.
Do I want to go that route? Do I want to do that? Play the story forward. There are some things that we perhaps need to change. Play the story forward.
Number three, you don't know what it will cost you or cost others if you don't change. You don't know what it will cost others if you don't change. Because the first thing we say, well, I'm not hurting anybody. If I, if I participate in this or I do this unhealthy activity, it's, it's only hurting me. It's not hurting anyone else.
That's our first thought. But if we go to the Bible and I, and, and this, this part, please listen to me on this because I think this is the most misunderstood area in the Christian faith. And if you're not a Christian today and you're just trying to figure out the Jesus thing, that's okay. You're off the hook. Guess what?
You could chill and sit back. But I'm talking to believers today. Um, but Jesus takes this very seriously. Now listen, Salt Church is a hospital for the sick. Now happen in flesh.
Take it off with em. I think it's a very swift thing. I think emotionaly people , and I'm, and I'm in here We set up on the idea that we want to be people who accept the people who really need it to need Jesus the most. That one of the 99 that walks into this room is who we're after. And we have people with all sorts of issues in this church.
I know. I talk to them. I counsel them. We've got alcoholism. We've got substance abuse.
We've got all kinds of things going on in this church and we're praying and we believe that God is going to deliver them from it. But some of us struggle with it. Even if we've gone a long way, we still deal with the troubles. We deal with the things of the past. And we're a hospital and we desire to see people freed from those things.
And we do not want to be a stumbling block to others. Why do I say this? Because Jesus really takes it seriously. This loving, wonderful, holy Jesus, you know, that we see in the Bible. He says this to his disciples and he says it to, and it's for believers today.
He says, things that cause people to stumble are bound to happen. They're going to happen. Stumbling is going to happen. But woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Ouch. So watch yourself. So Jesus says, watch yourself. When you participate in things, when you do things, there's some things in your life that may not, you have actually have the liberty to do. And it won't hurt you.
It might even hurt your spiritual life. But if it causes somebody else to go down a path they don't need to go that could pull them away, it could be treacherous for them, then we have to be really careful. In fact, Paul says this in 1 Corinthians 9, 19. He says, though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone to win as many as possible. And then he goes on to talk about, I became Jews to the Jews.
I became Gentiles to the Gentiles. I became those like those under the law. I became like those outside the law. And then in verse 22, he says, I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. The heart of Jesus in Paul's writing.
I do all this for the sake of the gospel that I may share in its blessings. He even tells Timothy as he writes the letter to Timothy to watch his life and doctrine that he will save both himself and his hearers. So we see that the Bible is very serious about this. That our story sometimes doesn't need to change because of ourselves. Because it might affect others that are watching and that are learning and that are noticing what we do.
But the good news is there's hope for everyone. No matter if your story was bad in the past and you feel like there's no hope for the future. I'm going to tell you there is hope because God is not finished with your story. And so I want to go down to the practical things as I shared last week. What story does God want you to tell?
I want you to think about that. In fact, I want you to pull out your cards and I have that. And maybe you answered that last week. I want you to write that down again. Maybe it's a physical issue.
Maybe you need to be healthier and you want to tell a better story in the future because you're healthier. Maybe it's spiritual. Maybe it's a family situation that you want to be better with your family. Maybe you want to be able to tell the story how great your family is and maybe wanting them to be people that are part of the church and a part of God's family in the future. Maybe it's your finances.
Maybe you're in debt or whatever and you want to tell the story. What does God want you to tell? What story does God want you to tell? Let me say it like this. What does God want you to want?
What does he want you to want? What's getting in the way of what God wants you to want to change? Secondly, what does God want you to change? What does God want you to change? And I'm not, again, I'm not saying go after everything, right?
Last week we talked about habits that we had. I'm not saying going after everything because if you try to go after everything, you're going to fail. But what does God, what is God speaking to you as you sit in your seat today? What does he want you to change? What are some of those things that he wants to change in your life so that you have a better story for the future?
Maybe for some of you, it's simply stop getting drunk. Stop drinking so much. Stop partying. I mean, maybe it's sex before marriage. Maybe stop having sex before marriage.
Maybe God has something better for you on the other side. Maybe that's, maybe it's, you're angry. You got anger fits. You got a temper. Maybe it's time to make some changes in your attitude.
Those are external things. And there's also internal things that, that, that we need to deal with. Maybe it is the bad attitude. Maybe it's your, you're critical. You're critical of everybody and everything.
Maybe you've got some, you got a bad attitude towards other people. Maybe there's some things internally that you need to change. Let me just share with you some things that I changed. And I changed, especially when I first came to the knowledge of Jesus. There were some things I had to think about right away that I had to change.
And the first one was running around with my friends all the time from bar to bar. I, I enjoyed doing, I liked having a, a, a beer and, and hanging out with my buddies and, and, and, and chasing girls and all those things that you do as a teenager. But when you, but when, when you, when I came to the knowledge of Christ, I decided that I needed to decide who I was going to be around and what kind of lifestyle I was going to live to be an example to others. If God was going to use me, if God was going, if I was going to be a child of God, I needed, I had to cut off some, some, some really close friends that I grew up with. And it was hard.
And I still loved them. And I still prayed for them. And I still had lunch for them, with them. I just couldn't do the same things that they were doing. I had to make a decision to change some things in my life that I was doing before, before I came to the knowledge of Christ.
Second thing I had to, I had to work on is, is a bad temper. I had a temper. I still have one. I have to work on it all the time. I lose it all the time.
But I had, but, but I knew there's some internal things that I had to change about my attitude and, and my, my temper. Because I knew it was unhealthy. And if I were to, to even, even lead, I wasn't a call to, to ministry at that exact point in time. But God was kind of working on my story. And I know if I have to work with people, you know, it's probably not good to get mad at them and blow, you know, blow them off or get angry, right?
I don't know if it's the, the redhead or the Irish in me or stuff. But that's kind of something we, we redhead struggle with, right? And, and, but, but I had to work on my temper. I had to work on, on those things. Another thing.
is I had to stop, especially when it came time for me to lead in ministry. I was terribly critical over every ministry, every ministry. I didn't feel that it was doing it right. And part of that was because God put a vision in my heart, but he convicted me when I would look at, you know, they're so, you know, look what they're doing. They're not going to reach anybody like that.
Look at that church. They're just a bunch of church people getting, you know, you would, you kind of do that. And I was very critical about how they were, they're not even teaching the Bible properly or, you know, on the opposite end of it. Oh, they're, they water down the gospel and they do this and they do that. You know, we just, we criticize.
God had to work on me about that. I can't, you know, if I'm going to do this thing called ministry, if I'm going to plant a church, we're in this together. We're in this together. And I say this often, anybody in here, if you're new and you like this church, man, we want you to be a part of us. We want you to grow with us.
Guess what? Our goal this year is, is 250 people. We're expecting to pack out this place. We're going to grow this, this, this over the next year. We're excited about what God, God's bringing in.
And we came from a brewery to, to, to this place. And we've, we've seen growth since then. And we're just continuing to grow. And we're just super excited about what, what God's doing. But, but if you're not, if this isn't for you, I, I care more about where you fit.
If there's another church that fits you, that's, that's what's most important to me. Because if it's, if it's the church down the street, if it's a more traditional type of service, that's fine. In fact, even, even, I'll just share this anonymously. We had a couple in here that couldn't decide whether the, the, the husband wanted to worship here. Because he was a very kind of laid back guy.
And the wife liked more of a liturgical, more academic type setting, a more, more of a church type setting. And they, they, and we actually talked to that couple and, and told them that they need to make a choice. I mean, they, they can't worship in two different places together, which they were going to decide to do. And we just, and we lost, we may have lost them as a result of that. Because we told them, we, we shared what biblically was right.
And that, you know, that hurts us to lose anybody. Especially when we're a young church plant. Ain't you right, Chris? We, you know, we're a young church plant. But we know what's right.
We know what the Bible says, that, that couples need to worship together and be together. So we're all about that. So to say, say all of that, but I'm kind of, kind of going off and left field here about that. But, but we, we are more concerned about, about the kingdom of God. And sometimes we have to make changes.
And I had to make changes in my life and, and, and being critical of, of other churches. So I love all the churches around here. And I hope they all grow. And I hope they all just experience God's power in their service. And we're, and we're going to be a church that supports other churches.
We're going to do this together. I meet with all the pastors around here all the time. I love them. They love me. We're in this together.
And we're going to do this thing together. Amen. We're not going to be critical. And maybe you're that person. Another thing I decided to do, and I, I, um, when I started ministry, is I actually stopped drinking in general.
So I guess you can call me a teetotaler. Now, now let me say this. Um, this is not a message that you shouldn't drink. Okay. All right.
Cause most of you probably have a beer or have wine or, or, or whatever, you know, our, our stance on alcohol. Here's our stance on alcohol. And I know a lot of you have grown up in the, if you've grown up in church, all churches used to preach. You're going to hell. If you drink, you know, you're going to hell, you know, you know, you just stay away from it.
Right. I grew up in that kind of church. You know, you were scared. Oh God, God going to take me today. You know, I mean, uh, that's how it is.
So our stance on alcohol, we have a pretty firm stance on alcohol. Drinking is not a sin. Drunkenness is always a sin. And anytime you cause your brother or sister to stumble, that's when non-sin becomes sin. So that's the guiding line we have for drinking.
But for me, that middle part meant so much to me. And I looked at Paul's passage on that. I've got to become all things to all people. I decided to stop drinking. And, and, and just, just for an example, maybe we have an alcoholic in this church and they're really doing well.
And maybe they even think that, I can tell you right now that we have people in this church that believe that we shouldn't as Christians partake and drink in alcohol because of their background, because they have real issues with it. And they know the devastation of it. In fact, you know why the church always preached? I don't think a lot of people know this. So just in church history, why the church preached abstinence for so long?
It wasn't because, it wasn't because it was illegal at one time necessarily. But way, back when the Puritans came to settle the land, it got out of control. And people were drunk all the time. And people were missing, you know, cheating on their wives and, and leaving their kids and all that. So the church had to take hold of it and start preaching.
So they, they preached abstinence because it was such an issue. I mean, they, they, they brought over, when they came over from England, they had barrels of beer, you know, they had pubs everywhere and it just got chaotic. So that's why the church did that. So there was justified in that culture. So when we look at our culture, we have to, we have to determine those things too.
And for me, that was very important because, you know, we have our, getting back to what I was saying, I'm just going off, way off the path right now. It's not, this, none of this is in my notes. Okay, so the reason I, I decided, imagine if I, if they saw me somewhere, somebody came in this church and they're doing really well, but they saw me have, have, have a beer or have a, have something, like have a mixed drink or something. And maybe I have the liberty to do that. In fact, I do have the liberty to do that because I don't have a problem with it.
And it's not, it's, it's, it's definitely not unbiblical to have a drink, right? But they see me and they say, well, pastor's doing it. Maybe I can have one, you know, it's okay. He's a, he's a very, he's a spiritual leader. It's okay.
And then they have a drink and then it's all over for them. It's all over for them. Their life is back where it was before. All the progress that they made. And I'm accountable for that.
So we protect our liberties very well. Okay. And that's why I made a decision. And that honestly, that wasn't meant to preach to you, not to drink. That has nothing to do, do with what I'm saying.
I'm just saying there's other things in your life, not just alcohol, but there's other things in your life you're probably participating in and you're probably doing and you're inviting people over and they're seeing what you're doing. And the outside world sees what you're doing and you do not want to be a stumbling block. You don't, we don't want to turn into that church, right? That church, right? We don't, we want to be a gospel centered church.
It's all about the gospel. So we, we choose to, to forfeit everything, absolutely everything we possibly can for the sake of the gospel. Amen. Y'all receive that? Is that good?
So seek God and choose one thing. Some of you probably need to take a break from technology, right? Oh my gosh, I can't even have conversations with you because you're on your phone all the time, playing on Facebook or, you know, whatever it is, you know, the social media, Instagram. Some people, some of you have fast, fasted social media and, you know, it could be anything. Pick one thing, critical, negative thoughts, eating junk food, smoking, drinking, dipping, hanging out with friends, comparing, you know, watching questionable movies or, or neglecting family line credit cards, whatever it is, choose one thing.
Choose one thing because what we decide today determines our story tomorrow. What we do today, the little things we do today determine our story tomorrow. Hebrews 12, going back to verse 1, with, we started out with a scripture, our theme scripture. But if we go back, it says this, as Paul uses the, uh... The analogy of a runner, and I know we're going over today, I got a little wordy today.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked before us, or marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is the author of our faith. We need to, we need to let go of those things that are keeping us from having a story to share, of having a story to tell. And some of you say, well I just can't.
There's some things I just can't change. I want to change. I want to improve in this area, but I just can't change. Well I'm telling you, you can change. You can't change it on your own, but by the power of God you can change.
God can change your story. We've all fallen short, right? We've all, we all have stories we want to write out of our book. We want to get them out of our book. We don't want to talk about them.
We don't want to talk about those stories. We all have those things in our lives. I failed, you failed, but God is not finished yet. He is not finished with your story and he has got an amazing story for your life. You today can make that decision.
I've decided to change. By the power of God, you can change your story. By the power of God, you can change your story. And I believe that there's stories in here that are going to just incredibly, just take the world by storm. Things are going to happen that you've never experienced before because you decided today to make a choice, to make a choice, even though in faith you can't see the other side, you can't see it, but in faith you are going to make a choice today because you're, you're going to see the blessings because you have no idea what is in store for you.
You have no idea the blessings God has in store for you. So I invite you to pray with me. If you'll bow your heads and just pray with me. I want to, I want to pray for some people here. Maybe you're somebody who, who's dealing with a thing that you need to change.
I know I have things in my life that I'm not exempt from this. There's things I need to change. I know you have things that you need to change in your story. And today I just want to pray for you. I want to pray for you.
If there's anybody in here that, that, that can confess just by lifting your hand, I have some things. I have some things that I need to change. Come on, lift those hands. Yeah, I see those hands. Lift those hands.
Oh yes, Lord. We're just, we're just going to climb, we're going to call it out to God today. We're just going to say, Lord, I know there's some things I need to change, God. I pray by the power of God that you would help me change these things, Lord. Give me the boldness.
Give me the strength. Give me the ability to make these changes today so that I can experience you more, Lord, so that I can experience a better life in you, Lord, because you came for, for abundance of life. You didn't just come for life, but life abundantly. You said that, Lord Jesus, and we're, we're believing that today. So all over this place, I just pray for the people in this room that God would just supernaturally change you.
God just change them, Lord, for the better, that you would bring change to their story. For some of you, in that same spirit of prayer, for some of you, maybe you've never made a decision for Christ. Maybe your story is that it never started in the first place. And you know, it's time today, it's time today to make a decision for Christ. If that's you today and you're ready and you want to give your heart to Christ, just raise your hand.
Just raise your hand. Today's today. The time's to time. And I want to pray for you. I want to pray for you.
I want to pray for you. Come on. Come on. If that's you, maybe you've been holding back for a long time. There's nobody looking around.
This is a safe place. This is a safe place to give your heart to Christ. This is it. This is the time. This is the time.
Your life, this will be the decision you make forever. If you'll pray with me, pray with me, Jesus, I believe that you are the son of God and you died on the cross for my sin. Amen. Today, I commit my life to you. I know I've done it for a long time on my own and hasn't worked, Lord.
I've been running opposite of you, but today I receive you as my Lord and Savior. You are the king of my life from here on out. Today, I change. Today, I change. In Jesus' name.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Can you give God a hand clap? Thank him.
We thank you, Jesus. We thank you, God. We thank you, God. Hallelujah.
