Why is the bodily resurrection of Jesus important to my faith?

Without it, our faith would be futile, and hope for salvation and eternal life would be lost. The resurrection confirms that Jesus is who He claimed to be—the risen Lord and Savior, and demonstrates God’s power over death, validating the promise of eternal life for believers.

This resurrection assures believers that death is not the end but a transition to everlasting life with God, and that physical death is swallowed up in victory, giving us hope and confidence that we will be raised to eternal life, living in a restored, glorified body (1 Corinthians 15:17, 15:54-55).
